"Lily!" I heard a man's voice that wasn't James.
"Snape?" I shouted back.

Three years later at Diagon Alley......
I was walking with Snape at Diagon Alley, not exactly shopping for anything.
"Lily, do you care for a glass of butterbeer?" asked Snape.
"Yeah, sure!" I said.
We went to The Three Broomsticks. When we sat down and drank butterbeer, I spotted James standing at a corner of the shop, holding a bunch of flowers for somebody. He was staring at me.
"Lily, I have waited since we were seven to ask you for this, now it's the perfect time," said Snape.
"Ask what?" I said.
Snape pulled out a small red box covered with velvet cloth. He opened it.
It was a diamond ring.
"Will you marry me?" he asked.
