Chapter 8- Run Away

*JC'S POV*

"We're back!!!" I hear Cassy and the guys yell. "Kian, Trevor and Jc!!! Come get you're clothes!" Cassy yells throughout the hallway. "Okay mom!!" I reply laughing. "I ain't your mom, pshh you wish I was." Cassy tells me as she enters the living room with four duffle bags in her hands. "Help would be nice!" She yells at us as me, Trevor, Kian and Jc get up and grab the bags out of her hands. "My shoulders hurt now." Cassy says as she rubs her shoulders. "Cassy! Where can we change?" Sam asks her as he enters the living room with Ricky and Connor following behind him. "Umm there's a guest bedroom next to my room. And there's another one down the hall from my room.." Cassy says as the guys start fighting over who gets to change first or who gets to sleep in which room. "I need to go change and so does Maddie. So meet us down here after you guys are done changing." And with that Maddie got up from the couch and followed Cassy upstairs.

*MADDIE'S POV*

"Here's a tanktop, and a pair of sweats." Cassy tells me as she gives me a grey tanktop along with a pair of purple sweats with 'Pink' on the right leg. "Thanks." I reply as she walks into her closet and leaves me alone in her room.. "well then.." I say under my breath.

*CASSY'S POV*

I grab a black tanktop along with a pair of dark blue sweats with 'Hollister' on the right leg. "Are you done yet?!" I ask Maddie through the door. "Yeah." She replies to me as I walk out of the closet and put my hair in a messy bun as she puts her brown hair in a ponytail. "Ready.?" She asks me as she finishes her ponytail. "Yup! As long as there is food still I'll be in a good mood." I tell her as me and her let out a laugh as we run downstairs. "What's so funny?" Sam who is shirtless asks as he jumps into the hallway scaring me and Maddie. "You're a douche you know that?!" I yell at him as I push him. "Aww babe don't be mad at me.." He says as he grabs me from my waist as I try to walk into the kitchen. "Sam.. Please don't call me babe." I tell him as I get out of his grip. "I'm sorry.." He replies as he walks out of the kitchen. "Fuck." I say under my breath as I hit the counter with my fist. "What happened?!" Maddie and the guys asks as they all run into the kitchen. "Nothing. I'm just really stressed that's all." I tell them as I sit on the counter as I grab a Oreo. "Cassy what's wrong.?" Maddie asks me as she stands in front of me. "Nothing I'm fine." I say before I take a bite of the Oreo. "Something's wrong, tell us please.." Connor tells me. "It's just sad that I have to spend Christmas without my parents.. I thought I would be able to have Christmas like a normal family but yet again I was wrong.." I say as I look down at my hands. "Cassy you know your part of our family and we will never judge you." Jc tells me as I finish eating the Oreo. "I'm happy I am it's just I thought I would spend it with my family.." I say as I feel tears brim my eyes. "We're your family.." Trevor says as he smiles. "Thanks." I reply as I let tears fall down my face. "Hey you know I don't like to see princesses crying.." Connor tells me as he walks up to me and hugs me for comfort. "Are you guys like a couple?" Maddie asks me and Connor as me and him look at each other. "What?" I ask as I look at Maddie. "I'm just asking.. Are you guys?" She asks again making me mad at the thought of her thinking I would trust anyone after what happened in my past relationships. "No we're not. Why the hell would you even ask? You know I don't trust anyone! I knew I should have just kept my mouth shut for the night!" I yell at Maddie as I get of the counter and attempt to walk out of the kitchen. But Ricky grabbed me and stopped me from leaving. "Let me go!!" I yell as he lifts me up as I start to kick. "Nope." He replies as he puts me on a chair. "Block the doors." Ricky tells the guys and they do as told. "Can I just go out for a walk.. Please." I ask them. "It's almost 11 and there's a lot of creeps out there around this time of night and you know that.." Maddie tells me trying to make eye contact with me but I look away. "Please." I look at the guys. "Two of them will go with you." Ricky tells me. "You know your not my dad! So don't treat me like I'm a little kid!" I yell as I hop off the table and give Kian and Trevor a death glare and they move from the door and put their hands up in surrender. "I'm gonna just go upstairs.." I tell them as I run upstairs and close my bedroom door and lock it. "Cassy just please rest." Connor tells me through the door. I don't respond, instead I put on music and walk up to a wall and start thinking of stuff I could do right now. I could just climb out the window and go for a walk.. I can just run downstairs and leave, they won't be able to catch me.. But I get more mad at myself and punch the wall, making a hole in the drywall. "Dammit!!" I yell as I look at my hand to see my knuckles are bleeding and my hand is red and swelling. I hear footsteps come from the staircase. I run into my closet and grab a pair of socks, a grey jacket and my white converse. I hurry and slip on the socks with my white converse and put on the grey jacket and open up my window. "Cassy open the door!!" I hear Kian yell. I grab my phone off my bed and run to the window and climb out and close it behind me. "Shit!" I hear Sam yell as I hear my door getting busted down. I run to the front side of the roof where I can crawl down the roof. I make my way to the front side of the house and climb down onto the lid of the trash can and jump off the trashcan and run down the driveway. After there was a big enough gap for me to fit through the gate I slid through the gate and ran down the street. "Get in the car!!" I hear Connor yell from down the street. I keep running until I come to a opening between a house and a bush. I hide between them while I wait for the car to pass me. As soon as I saw the car pass I run across the street until I feel someone grab my jacket. "What the hell are you doing!? Let me go!!" I yell as I get lifted off the floor. "Let go of me!!!" I yell to the top of my lungs as I start to cry."Hey calm down it's just me." Connor tells me. "You asshole! I thought you were like a rapist or something!!" I yell at him as he turns me around and hugs me. "Don't do that again to me please.. Please don't hurt yourself.. Please." He tells me as he kisses my head. "Okay.. I promise." I tell him as he looks into my eyes. "I like you Cassy.. A lot." He tells me. "Connor not right now please.. Just not right now." I tell him as I wipe my tears and start walking away from him. "I found her she's fine just meet us at the house.. Alright.. Bye." Connor says to whoever he called. "I'm not going back home.." I tell him as I start walking faster. "Yeah you are." I hear Connor say as he grabs my wrist to the hand I punched the wall with. "Oww!! Let go your hurting me!" I yell as he lets go and I hold my hand from the pain he caused. "I'm sorry.. Cassy I didn't know. - just leave me alone. I'm going back home!" I cut him off as I run up the street back to my house.
