Chapter 9- Sassy

*CONNOR'S POV*

"I'm such a dumbass.." I say under my breath as I walk back up the street to Cassy's house. As I make my way towards her house I forget I need the pin to get in. I dial Jc's number, when it rings to the second ring he answers,"Hey.. Can you open the gate?" I ask Jc. "Yeah I'll be out there in a minute." And with that he hung up. Jc runs down the driveway and opens the gate. "Thanks." I reply as I walk up the driveway with Jc. As I open the front door I hear crying from upstairs, Maddie yelling and Trevor trying to calm her down. "You asshole!!" I turn to face Maddie charging at me as she tackles me to the floor and starts punching me. "You hurt Cassy!!!" She yells as Ricky pulls her off of me. "I didn't know that she hurt her wrist.." I tell Maddie as I wipe the blood from my mouth as I get up from the floor. "Don't ever talk to her again!" She yells as she exits the room with Trevor. "What did you do to Cassy.?" I turn to face Jc. "I found her and I grabbed her wrist and she yelled at me and ran back here." I tell him as I walk into the living room with him, Ricky, and Kian following behind. Where's Sam.. "Ricky.. Where's Sam?" I ask him as I sit down on the couch. "Umm he's upstairs talking to Cassy.." He replies as he looks away from me. "What the hell? You guys think he's just talking to her? He could try to make a move on her!" I tell them as I get up from the couch. "Calm down. He likes her and it's kinda obvious she likes him. Just let it be." Kian tells me as he blocks me from leaving the room. "Your okay with them going out?" I ask him as I sit back down on the couch. "Yeah we all agreed she's pretty and funny. But we are just going to treat her like a sister and respect that they like eachother.." Kian says as he sits down on the couch and turns on the tv. "Oh, okay.." I say as I sit back on the couch and watch tv with Kian.

*CASSY'S POV*

"All done." Sam says as he finishes wrapping my hand with gauze. "Thanks.." I tell him as I lay on my bed and look at the ceiling. "Cassy.. you know that your pretty right?" He asks me as he lays down next to me. "You think I'm pretty?" I ask him as I look at him. "Yeah.." He replies as he looks at me. "Thanks Sam." I tell him as I take his hand into mine. "Welcome." He replies to me as I sit up as he does the same. "I like you Cassy.." He tells me as I look at him. "I like you too Sam.." I tell him as I smile. "There's the adorable smile I missed!" He says as he pokes my cheek. "Really?" I ask as I look at my hands. "Yeah.." He tells me as he lifts my chin so I look up to him. Before I could say anything he leaned in and our lips met. Fireworks were going off in my mind. After the kiss ended we sat there looking at each other in a awkward silence.. Sam broke the silence. "Cassy can I ask you something?" He asks me. "Sure what is it?" I ask him. "Umm.. Well I know we just met and all but Cassy will you be my- yes." I answer cutting him off. "Yes?" He asks in shock. "Yes Sam I'll be you're girlfriend.." I reply smiling at him. "I'll never treat you bad.. I promise Cassy." He tells me as he looks into my eyes and takes my hand into his. "I hope you can keep promises." I say as I kiss his cheek. "I'll keep this one forever." He replies as he smiles at me.

*MADDIE'S POV*

"Calm down.. She's upstairs with Sam.. Just go up there and see if everything is okay." Ricky tells me. "Fine." I say as I walk upstairs and open her bedroom door to see her and Sam laughing. "Is everything okay?" I ask Cassy as she makes eye contact with me. "Yeah, everything is fine." She replies as she looks back at Sam. "Yup me and Cassy are fine." Sam tells me as he holds her hand. Are they dating.. "Wait. Hold the truck up. Are you guys dating?" I ask in confusion. "Yup!" Cassy replies as Sam kisses her cheek. "Awww you guys are cute together!" I saw in awe like a little kid. "Aha thanks Maddie." Cassy says as Sam and her turn red with embarrassment. "Well I'll leave you two love birds alone!" I say as I close the door and run downstairs into the living room. "They're dating!!" I yell to the guys as they all reply saying,"took him long enough to ask her out."

*SAM'S POV*

"Babe can I have my beanie back?" Cassy asks me giving me a pitiful look. "Nope, I get to wear it." I say as I cross my arms. "I.." She says giving me a puppy dog face. "Here's a deal.. You let me wear you're beanie.. I'll let you wear my jacket tomorrow." I tell her "I guess that's fair.." She says as I smile at her. "Thanks babe." I tell her as she fixes her hair. "Welcome." She replies as she pulls her hair out of the messy bun. "Do you need help with that?" I ask her as I see her struggle with putting it up in a ponytail. "Please.." She replies as she puts the hair tie in my hand and turns around so I can put it up in a ponytail. "There you go." I tell her as I finish the ponytail. "Your better at doing hair than I am.. That can't be right." She says letting out a laugh. "Well what can I say I'm a hairstylist." I tell her letting out a laugh as well. "Well your my new hairstylist." She says as she turns around to face me. "What time is it?" She asks letting out a yawn. "It's almost midnight." I tell her as I put my phone back into my pocket. "We should head downstairs and sleep down there so they don't think I'm mad at Connor." She tells me as she gets up from her bed and opens the door. "Hold up.." I tell her as I get a blanket off her bed and wrap her in it and pick her up bridal style. "Shall we go downstairs?" I ask her "we shall." She replies as I carry her downstairs to the living room to see Ricky and Jc on the floor, Trevor and Maddie on a couch while Maddie has her head on Trevor's shoulder and is asleep. And then I see Kian taking up a couch and Connor knocked out on the floor. Me and Maddie lay down on a couch. "I'm tired." She yawns as she wraps her arms around my torso. "Well go to sleep, I'll be here in the morning.." I tell her as I kiss her head. After about thirty minutes I started to get sleepy. Cassy had her head buried into my chest as I leaned my head back and closed my eyes.. This was just the beginning of everything..
