Day 6

Well, today's gone well. I'm writing this at 9:31 the day after, whilst at school, sitting in a quite crowded common room, waiting for my next lesson at 10:15, but, even if I had tried to write this yesterday, I wouldn't have had much time.

Note to self: Breaks for gaming really help with productivity apparently.

It turns out the fire was all a dream, there was never any real danger, and the whole bucket thing didn't even matter in the first place because as I said before, it was all in my head. Everything's fine again. The fire station's much closer than I thought, the engine's are well-equipped and there's more than just a driver.

How could things have gone so well, and/or lucky for me.

I mean, yesterday, I had over 4500 words to write (I was trying to get ahead of the writing target word count on the website by 500), an entire gift to make, and 4 essays to write.

Today? Today I have 4 essays to write and the last ⅓ of the gift to complete. Not only that, but I wrote over my aims, by another 500 words! That puts me 1000 words above target, and safe, for now.

With all of the rest of the stuff I still have left to do, maybe I could accept that there's a small fire in the kitchen when one of the chef's wasn't paying attention, but it's being kept under control and they'll be able to put it out with what they have in the kitchen. No need for a fire engine, or even a bucket. No burning building either.

Everything is going well (for the most part).
