Another Theory

I know I should make a book for these, but this is my most popular one. I'm still on break BTW, but I might have time this weekend for a quick update.

Anyway, this theory is for what is happening with Sun and Moon.

Now, my theory for last week's special was completely wrong as it was set in the past, not the future, and the girl in cased in stone was actually the girl who looked like Serena. So I fucked that up.

But this is for the timeline of Sun and Moon. Now, last week, me and my friend Robbie were walking home aft school when I brought up the topic of XYZ, and we spoke about the last episode and the plot line. Then we brought up Ash's age and if he grows up. And we spoke saying that by the time he's in Kalos, he should be around my age, which is 15-16.

And then tonight, I watched the end of the Kalos League final dubbed, and Ash brings up that he wants to travel to new places and become a better battler.

And that got me thinking.

Ash looks like he's just about 10 in Sun and Moon, which could explain his crappy design. This is because after Sinnoh and D&P, he didn't have a set goal. And of course, there was also the soft reset at the start of Black and White when he became 10 again.

But if that happened, he wouldn't have remembered Dawn when she came back in B&W season 2 with Cynthia, and also wouldn't have remembered Serena as the 'girl with the straw hat'.

So I'm now thinking, is it possible that after he got back from Sinnoh, as we never saw what happened after he left Brock as they came back from the ferry, he and Delia decided to go out to Alola, so that he could get more experience, and so that it would fit into the timeline with Unova?

Reason why I bring this up is that I read somewhere that the writers for Sun and Moon are the same writers who did most of Black and White, and we know how shit that was, now don't we? And also the quality of animation wouldn't go from this

So I'm thinking that he and Delia went to Alola after he got back from Sinnoh, he did school, the league and trials over there, and then went to Unova. That seems a bit logical as they both head with Prof Oak to Unova after they got back. As if he went after Unova, it doesn't make sense as he was already on the plane with Alexa when B&W finished.

This would then mean that that after he turns at at his home at the end of XYZ, it's a break for a backstory, so the writers would have time to make a new series with him being like he is in Kalos, in terms of battling and animation quality.

This would mean that, and as an Amourshipper myself I say this with regret, Serena wouldn't make an appearance in Alola. But, if this is a break for the XY/XYZ writers, it means she could come back once Sun and Moon is over, like how I thought for ORAS, May would come back for an episode or two.

I also saw while browsing the Interweebs last week, a Twitter link came up and it had something about one of Ash's old Japanese voice actors saying that S&M is after D&P, and before B&W, so when Serena said 'I will become a more attractive woman for you Ash', I means that she will come  back, but we do t know when.

But then it also might be that Ash is going from Kalos to Alola, as if he did, he would know about Zygarde, Fairy types, and Mega Evolution. And also, that's why the demo gave you Ash's Greninja with the ability to change to Ash-Greninja as a teaser for things to come.

I've now confused myself and maybe you, so I'm going. I'll hopefully here the weekend for an update I've already started on, so yeah, hopefully see you then, and peace!!!
