I heard the screen door open when Daryl walked in. I was really relieved that he came back. He had been out for like 3 hours. I walked up to him and he had bread and pudding in his hand. "Found these in a tent a few miles away" he told me. "Thanks". I smiled at him and sat at the table. He walked over to me and gave me the bread and I sliced it into pieces for myself and him.

After we ate, I walked into the living room and he followed me. "You stink, go take a shower" I snickered. He just looked at me then laughed a little. I walked up to him and put my hands on his cheeks. He kissed me as stroked my hands through his greasy hair. "But really, go take a shower". He got up and went into the bathroom. I was tempted to go in with him but I stopped myself. Later when he got done, we both sat next to each other on the couch. I started to sing "I'm Yours" and he just looked at me. "Are you mine?" He asked. "Only if you want me to be". I smirked at him. "I ain't gonna leave you alone so yeah, I guess your mine". I kissed him passionately. Jimmy never said anything like that to me. Daryl was a jerk on the outside but he's got a huge heart. "Daryl , I love you". I looked in his eyes. "I love you too Greene".
