Stiles and Lydia got off to a pretty great start. They talked all period about where there from and childhood stories. When the bell rang they were both disappointed, wanting to talk forever.

"Wow that went by pretty fast!" Lydia giggles and starts gathering her things.

"Yeah, it did. Time flies when you're talking with someone's company you enjoy." Stiles hopes to god that wasn't too forward.

"We'll have to hangout sometime out of school. I feel like we have a lot of catching up to do." Lydia smiles with her eyes, the way Stiles loves.

"Yes! Definitely!" They exchange numbers and go their own ways. But before Lydia gets too far he hears her say something.

"Oh, nice eyes by the way! They're an amazing color." Lydia hurries away, blush creeping on her cheeks.

Stiles can't believe this. Not only did he just talk to his soulmate for a whole hour, but he also found out he's her soulmate too. This is amazing.

"Yeah dude, she was completely perfect. I don't know what I did in the universe to deserve someone like her, but man I'm so happy." Stiles is talking to Scott after school while playing Super Mario Bros.

"Bro, I know the whole soulmate thing is super exciting. But don't get your hopes up that much. You know there are cases where people don't end up together even though they are soulmates." Scott finishes the round with a jump onto the flag, Mario saying yipee reminds him a bit too much of his best friend.

"Yeah I know. Thanks for keeping me from going up into space and not losing my mind." Stiles pats Scott on the back after finishing the round two seconds after the other boy.

"Hey, you know I just don't want you to get hurt. I hate seeing you hurt, Stiles. But I really gotta go, my mom needs dinner she hasn't eaten all day and she has a night shift." He gives him a quick hug before walking out the door.

Stiles lays back in bed, exhausted from the day. He usually comes home and takes a nap, which usually ends up being till about 10pm. And he wonders why he can never sleep at night.

The boy jumps when his phone buzzes, scaring him out of his trance of sleep.

Lydia:
Thank you so much for keeping me company today. That class always makes me feel super lonely.

He sends back a text that says no problem, I really enjoyed it too. Im always here to keep you company.

Lydia:
I'm so glad. :) I gotta go, I'll see you at school tomorrow!

Butterflies fill his stomach, he's crushing hard on her. What a disaster.
