10 - The Rare Cat-y Karry

****I weeks later****

***Ling er's POV***

Xiao Kai and I walked hand in hand in the airport. Our unforgettable Hawaiian trip has been wonderful, but now it's time to go home. He and I took a seat at the gate as we waited for Meizi and Qian Xi to catch up. Meizi got a call from someone, but told us to go ahead so we could hold four seats at the gate so we won't have to end up standing for almost three hours. I rested my head on Xiao Kai's shoulder, and he rested his head on mine.

"So did you have a good time, baby?" I asked, interlocking our fingers.

"I had a wonderful time." he smiled, lightly kissing my nose. I giggled, and snuggled closer into his chest, taking in his warm embrace. "You look sleepy." he poked my side. I looked up at him, and nodded poking his cheek.

"Maybe it's because I stayed up all night packing both of our suitcases."

"Hey, I need my beauty sleep." he said, flipping his hair. I hit his arm, and narrowed my eyes.

"Oh you know I'm kidding." he laughed. "You can sleep on me the whole trip home, okay?"

"And you have to unpack." I added. He groaned and rested his head on my shoulder.

"You're such a little butt, Ling er."

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me." he giggled. I narrowed my eyes, and flicked his cheek, earning a glare from him.

"Don't flick my cheeks. They're sensitive." he pouted. I giggled, and flicked his other cheek, earning another glare from him. "Ling er, stop." he groaned.

"Make me." I mocked as I continued to flick his cheeks. A smirk swept across his face as he grabbed my cheeks, and began pinching them. Xiao Kai and I continue grabbing at each other's cheeks, not even realizing the people around us are watching.

"The heck are you guys even doing?" I hear a familiar voice behind me. I turned around, and see Qian Xi and Meizi staring at us as if we've gone mad.

"What? Since when was it weird to have a cheek fight?" Xiao Kai questioned, making me giggle.

"Since forever." Qian Xi laughed. I hit his arm, and he hit mine back, earning a long glare from Xiao Kai.

"Hands off." Xiao Kai said in a stern voice, eyeing Qian Xi.

"Oh no, Meizi you see that? It's the rare, but dangerous species, Cat-y Karry. Legend has it that if you upset the Cat-y Karry, he'll come and attack you by furiously pinching your cheeks." Qian Xi mocked, making everyone but Xiao Kai die of laughter.

"I don't see what's so funny about it." Xiao Kai mumbled under his breath, crossing his arms. I giggled at him, and wrapped my arms around his waist, engulfing him in a hug.

"You're my Cat-y Karry." I giggled. A small smile crept on his face, and he lightly kissed my nose.
