"What do you want from me?" Susan asks Minhyuk, her heartbeat racing in fear and anger - at herself.
The boy smirks. "C'mon." He opens the passenger door of his car and motions Su to get in. "I'll drive you home."
Clutching her purse, she gets in. What else can she do? Not only would she be exposed if she didn't follow, Jackson and his family would be put to shame, too. And she didn't want those to happen. What will Jerry say when he gets up with these news?
"So?" He glances at her from the driver's seat once they get out of the parking lot.
"What?" Su asks back, not looking at him.
He chuckles. "Are you going to tell me what's going on or what?"
She stays silent for a while. "What do you want to know?" She finally says after some time.
"Why are you with Jackson?"
"It's a long story." She sighs, looking out the window.
"We can go around the city the whole night if we have to." He urges.
"What do you want from me, anyway?" She asks instead.
"First?" He looks at her with a very sly grin. "Let's make a deal."
_____
Jackson starts thrashing the house as soon as Mark leaves. He couldn't believe his very best friend just said that. It's the first time he sees Mark like that and that only confirms his theory that he likes Susan. Mark never, for once, went against him. Even when he clearly liked the girl Jackson was after before, Mark didn't do anything to stop him. Why now?
"You want to go against me?" He's yelling as he throws the vase he sees beside him to the shelf full of pictures, and shards of glass come scattering down the carpet. "Who the fuck does he think he is?" He gets a hold of the phone and throws that, too, across the room to the wall, yanking it free from the cable attached to it.
The driver and the maid can't do anything but watch him from the side, too scared to even get near him.
"JACKSON! STOP THAT!" A very angry Kimi enters the house. "What do you think are you doing?" He grabs his arm before he picks another thing and pushes him down the sofa. "Where's Su?" She turns to the driver.
The man just shakes his head.
"Where's she Jackson? Don't tell me you left her at the party." Kimi paces the room, already on her phone when Jackson doesn't answer. He just puts his head between his hands, grabbing a load of his hair and yanking at it. "Shit!" She curses. She rarely does that. Only when she's really stressed out ... like now. "She's not answering." She turns to the driver again. "Get the car ready." She instructs then looks at Jackson again. "If something happens to that girl, Jackson, you know you're gonna be in trouble, right?" She threatens him before going out the door after the driver.
The house goes silent, Jackson still angry. But, his guilt is starting to take over. He realizes that he left Susan without an escort and he even took the driver with him. He takes out his own phone and dials Su's number. But, that phone also flies to the wall when he doesn't get an answer after trying many times.
"AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!" He screams. He picks up his jacket and goes out the door, taking the keys to his other car with him.
"You're back!" Minhyuk says, seeing him storm inside the hall. He has a very sly smirk on his face, which Jackson fails to notice.
"Where is she?" Jackson asks, scanning the few people who are already looking drunk. "Where's Su?"
"Oh." Minhyuk chuckles. "Your fiance?" He stresses the last word, which, again, Jackson didn't notice. "She left."
