"She did?" Jackson jumps out of his seat and goes beside Marj, smiling from ear to ear. "Really?"

"Yes, Jackson," Marj pushes his face away, "She's a really nice girl. I expect you to be really nice to her."

"I will." He hugs her, "Thanks, friend. I owe you one."

"You already owe me a lot, Jackson." 

JB laughs. "Jackson, you have to stop being cocky now. The girl might back out again because of your attitude."

"Moi? Cocky? Since when? I'm the most humble and nicest and most gentlemanly and the...." 

"See..." Marj is shaking her head, "Please....do this for me. The girl is going through a lot right now. She just needs the money that's why she agreed."

"Don't they all?" Jackson smirks.

"He's hopeless," JB chuckles, also shaking his head. 

"Mark," Jackson shakes Mark who's head is bent on the table, sleeping, "Mark! Hey wake up!" 

"Did you go out last night?" JB asks Jackson who just shakes his head 'no'. "He looked really tired and sleepy when I saw him this morning." 

"Maybe he just practiced again." Jackson says.

"Oh no!" Jackson's eyes widen, seeing the girl coming up to them in the parking lot. "She's here. Marj, hide me." He says going behind his friend, but the girl obviously saw him already. "Where's the girl when I need her? Can you contact her Marj? Tell her to come here right now!" 

"Can't! She's in the hospital taking care of her brother. She just called last night." 

JB chuckles, "Where's Mark anyway?", looking around to find their other friend is missing. 

"He went ahead. He said his mom called him." Marj answers. 

"Stop talking about Mark and help me here," Jackson whispers as he sees the other girl already just a few steps in front of them. 

"Jackson, baby!" The girl immediately hooks her arm around Jackson, pulling him to one side. 

"S...S...Sam!" 

"Are you perhaps hiding from me?" The girl says, letting the annoyed and scared Jackson face her. 

"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you never to come to my school?" He rolls his eyes at the girl. 

"Well, well, well. If you should've answered your phone then I wouldn't be here, would I now?" 

"You called?" Jackson still feigns innocence. "I must've been busy. Anyway, what are you doing here?"

"I'm going to see the doctor this afternoon. You know, to have our baby checked! So," she pretends to be fixing Jackson's collar, but actually pulling him closer, "I want you to come with me."

"What?" Jackson flings her arm, "And who said that's mine? If I remember correctly, we already broke up months ago, Samantha."

The girl narrows her eyes at him, clearly pissed. JB and Marj can't stop themselves from chuckling at the girl. 

"Besides," Jackson adds, "I'm getting married."

That takes the girl by surprise. "You are what now?" 

"I have a fiance, Sam. So," Jackson turns her around by the shoulder to let her face the exit and gives her a gentle push, "run along now. Bye!"

Sam looks around over her shoulder and see Jackson sneering at her. "I'm gonna get you for this, Jackson. Just you wait and see," she says under her breath before storming out the school grounds.
