Chapter 1(Part 4.1):Basketball Game

Sonic5's POV:

After Luraz disappeared,the gym went silent for minute.Irfan broke the silent.

Irfan:"Since all of us are already here,let's start the basketball game."

Everyone cheered except some of us who are not looking forward to the game.

Irfan:"Now I won't force all of you to play.It's just a game for fun and everyone is free to join in.For those who don't want to play can just sit here and watch or do whatever you want to do....except killing of course."

After that we splitted into two groups,the ones in the gym and the ones outside the gym.The guys outside the gym mainly the ones who don't want to play and that is Zarul,Azim,Ken,Yui,and Tracy.Friya said she wants to go with them so she can keep an eye on them.The rest remain in the gym.

We then divided into 4 teams:

Team1:Me,Shira,Nil,Hazrin

Team2:Irfan,Maria,Syahmi,Haziq

Team3:Ammar,Rica,Yumi,Wolf

Team4:Scarlet,Aqil,Ezra,Fitri

The only one who didn't play is Fikri and he said he will watch us play and take pictures with the camera he found at the school store.We're playing a knockout tournament.Team1 vs Team3 and Team2 vs Team4.The winners will then fight for 1st and 2nd place and the losers will fight for 3rd placing.The team that loses or in other words get 4th placing will be punished to do the dishes next morning.

The first match will be between my team against Ammar's.Both teams are stretching their bodies and getting ready for the match.The others are sitting on the benches while cheering for both teams.Ezra is already taking pictures at a corner so she could take a picture of everyone.

Irfan stood beside the courr as the referee.

Ammar:"We're going to win this."

Sonic5:"Let's see about that ."

As Irfan blow the whistle,the game has officially started.

*time skips*

I sat on the bench feeling gloomy and defeated.

Yumi:"Don't be so hard on yourself Sonic5."

Sonic5:"Yeah I guess so.But damn you're good and so is Wolf."

Wolf:"Well we are in the basketball team in our middle school."

Sonic5:"No wonder you guys play like pros."

After that Ammar blew the whistle which ends the match between Irfan and Aqil's team.

Syahmi:"Yay we won!!"

Haziq:"Whew that was a close match."

Aqil:"Gg guys."

Maria:"Gg?"

Irfan:"It means good game."

Ammar:"So this means is us versus you guys huh?"

Syahmi:"Bring it on!!"

Both of the team locked eyes with each other.Not out of hate,but out of rivalry.Since both referees are playing,Fitri volunteered to be the ref.After everyone took their positions,Fitri blew the whistle and the match started.I watched as both teams playing tremendously and skillfully.As I watch Irfan dribbling the ball,my eyes shifted focus towards Fikri who is taking pictures of the match.I walked towards him and his camera shifted towards me.

Fikri:"Ouh Sonic5.It's just you."

Sonic5:"You're taking pictures of the match.Isn't Ezra supposed to be doing that?"
