I'm sleeping when I hear a voice. It's a girl. I keep my eyes closed. I don't really feel like talking so I say nothing and listen.
"Hi Isabella, you don't know me, but I know you. Well I don't know you personally, but Luke talks about you all the time. When I say all the time I mean all the time. I'm sorry this happened to you. Life not that nice, well I hope you get better." I have to go now or the nurses will yell. Bye." She says.
I hear the door close. I open my eyes. Who was that girl?
I wake up and I see the boy that jerk punched and new people.
"Hi babe." He says.
"Who are you?! I say hiding under the covers.
"I'm your boyfriend. My name is Trevor. We were going to meet my parents, but we got in a car accident." He says.
I peek from under the covers.
I meet his mom, dad, three brothers, and his sister.
"I never imagined you meet my parents in this circumstance." He says.
I laugh lightly.
"Well we have to go, but we all hope you get better." They all say. It's like they practiced it.
When they leave. I'm sitting in my bed when a man with a toothy grin comes in the hospital. It's kinda creepy.
"Darling you don't know me, but I know everything about you, I've been watching you for a while. You don't remember but I tried to take you. I'd try to take you now, but everyone's looking. You think that was a car "accident"? Honey it's about to get worse. You know Luke can't save you, he can't even save himself. So get ready, and WATCH YOUR BACK, I'm coming for you." He says and leaves just like he entered.
That's when I get it. I get my first flashback. I see the dude taking me, Luke saving me, him bleeding, and then it ends. Just like that.
I'm staring into space. When the door opens. It's Luke. I start crying.
"What's wrong muffin?" He says rushing over.
"M-a-n w-w-ith weird smile came in here. S-a-i-i-d that he was watching me and that the car accident wasn't an a-a-cident." I sob.
He growls and hugs me.
"Muffin, I'll be right back. Alex will be staying with you all the time. I will call him right now."
He calls him and speaks. Not ten minutes later Alex is here hugging me. Luke looks back and is almost out the door when I make him stop.
"I remember you, you were bleeding." I say.
"Yea that was me muffin. Alex watch her, don't leave her side. If you need to get something get a nurse to get it for you. I repeat DO NOT LEAVE HER!" He says.
"Bye muffin."
"Bye Luke."
