I tell Alex everything. I tell him about what happened. I tell him about Bullet, and about Trevor.

"Wow!" He says.

"I know what do I do?" I ask.

"Well it's up to you, I truly think Luke likes you. I'm going to give you a hug; I think you need one."

He hugs me and I see Luke.  Luke strides over about to grab him, but I step in between.

"Luke, please don't he's he's -"

"Go ahead." Alex says.

"Gay." I whisper.

"Sorry man." Luke says holding his hands in a surrender.

"DON'T TELL ANYONE, OR YOU WILL BE A GONER!" I threaten.

"Muffin chill. I won't tell anyone." He says.

"Good."

"Good."

"Well I need to go." Alex says.

He gives me a hug and heads out the door.

I lead Luke to the table. He pulls out a book, and we start studying. After a few hours he teaches me how to teach Bullet how to sit.

"So how are you and Troy?" Luke ask during

"It's Trevor." I say.

"My bad." He sneers.

"Look Luke, Trevor is part of my life. You can either mope around and never speak to me again, or you can accept it and we will speak."

"Fine, I'll get over it, but that doesn't mean we will be all buddy buddy." He says.

Another knock on the door interrupts our conversation. I go to open the door and it's Trevor.

"Surprise date, right now." He says.

"I'm tutoring."

"Oh." He says his smile tuning into a frown.

"I'm sorry, but I have to work tonight at the library, you can hang out with me there."

"Ok,"he kisses my cheek and leaves.

Luke and I finish the tutoring. I get to the library. The bell ringing, my favorite sound. I get behind the desk. Not three minutes later Luke comes in.

"Grandma needs my help."

Ms. Reed comes down the stairs.

"No I don't, I have Isabella." Ms. Reed says.

"Trust me grandma, you need my help." He says.

He takes her up the stairs. I hear whispers.

"Oh I get it," she says.

"Actually I do need your help, you can put some books away." She says.

She comes down the stairs and winks. The bell dings and I look over.

"Hey girlfriend." He says.

"We have some company." I sigh.

Luke comes down the stairs.

"Hey Trey what's up?" Luke says.

"Nothing much." Trevor says.

Trevor grabs my wrist.

"What's he doing here?" He hisses.

"He works here." I squeak.

"Funny I don't remember seeing him, only you." He says.

"His grandma is the owner." I say.

"Whatever. I like how this is his relationship but he always tends to third wheel." He says disgust in his voice.

"What do you want me to do?" I say my voice rising.

"Tell him to leave, this was suppose to be us. Not you, me, and him." He says his voice increasing.

"I can't do that!" I yell.

"Then maybe I can't do us." He yells back.

All of a sudden Luke is there in a heartbeat and has Trevor against the book shelves. "Don't you EVER yell at her."

Tears gather in my eyes. I can't believe he just said that. I start running into my corner. I pull a book from the shelf. My tears soon soak the page. Eyeliner and mascara smearing the pages. It hasn't even been a week. Someone taps my shoulder. It's Trevor.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. I'm just sick and tired of him magically showing up where we are." He says holding my hand.

"It's ok." I whisper.

"I don't want him to take you away." He whispers.

"He won't." I say.

I get up, and go upstairs.

"Will you please leave." I ask.

"Why." He ask.

"Because you did this to just be nosy, I want you to leave."

"My grandma is the boss of me, not you!" He says.

"I think it would be a good idea if you leave Luke." Ms.Reed says.

He throws his hands up in exasperation. He stomps all the way down the stairs, and slams the door so hard the bell falls off. I walk back downstairs.

"Sorry about that." I say.

"It's fine." He says.

We finish the day off by putting the books on the shelves together. He takes me home, opens the car door, and takes me to my door.

"I had a really good time." He says.

"I did too." I whisper.

He starts looking at my lips, until his lips are centimeters from mine. I duck and open the door.

"Sorry, I'm not ready."

He rubs his neck.

"It's fine." He says.

He turns around and walks to his car. I close the door. Why didn't I let him kiss me? Why didn't I want him to kiss me? Why is that certain someone running through my head?
