Part 45 : Birthday Gift...!!

Everyone at MM gets shocked on hearing Sanskaar's scream and within a minute the entire Maheshwari family reaches Swasan's room... Sanskaar is sitting on the bed with a shocked face and Swara is standing near him totally shocked and out of her mind thinking what if Sanskaar is not ready to accept the child...

Ap: (worried) What happened Swara... Why is Sanskaar so shocked...?? Tell me beta... you both are scaring the hell out of me...!!
Swara: (teary eyes) I... I... don't... know Maa... (her voice chokes as she is trying hard to control her tears)
Laksh: Swara... what were you trying to do...?? Areyy bhai is not well naa...!!
Ragini: (hits Laksh with her elbow) Shut up Laksh... (she goes to Swara and keeps her hand on her shoulder)
Dp: (jerks Sanskaar) Sanskaar... what happened...?? Sanskaar...
Sanskaar: (looks at Dp with an emotionless face) Papa... PAPA...!!
Dp: I know that I'm your Papa, Sanskaar...!!
Sanskaar: Not you Papa... Me PAPA...!! (Swara gets shocked on hearing this and looks at Sanskaar)...
Dp: What...??

All of a sudden Sanskaar starts jumping and hopping like a child...

Sanskaar: Oh My God... Oh My God... Oh My God... I don't believe this...!! I don't believe this...!!
Laksh: (holds Sanskaar) Bhai... Bhai... What happened...?? (to all) I think we need a doctor... Bhai... are you sure you haven't hurt your head...!!
Sanskaar: Of course not duffer... But we do need a doctor...!!

He runs to Swara and picks her up in bridal style and starts twirling her around...

Sanskaar: I don't believe this... I'M GOING TO BE A FATHER...!!

Everyone: (shocked) What...!!
Ragini: (smiles) Areyy... Sanskaar... don't move her round-and-round... She is pregnant...!!
Sanskaar: Ooopss... Sorry... Sorry... (he keeps Swara down and makes her sit on the bed)...

Swara smiles with teary eyes looking at Sanskaar's happiness... She never expected such a reaction from him...

Sanskaar: (cups Swara's face and wipes her tears) Are you okay...?? (Swara nods her head and smiles) You always make me complete... Thank you...!! (kisses her forehead)
Swara: (hits his chest) You scared me...!!
Sanskaar: What... Me...?? What have I done...??
Swara: (teary eyes) You were so shocked that I thought that you are not happy with me being pregnant... and you are not ready to be a father now...!!
Sanskaar: Oh God Swara...!! Why won't I...?? I'm so happy now... In fact, I can bet that I'm the happiest man on the Earth now...!! (He hugs her tightly)
Laksh: Ahem... Ahem... With due courtesy... I'm obliged to inform you that our elders are still standing here...!!
Ap: Laksh...!! Don't spoil their moment...!! (walks to Swara) Beta... (Swara looks at her and Ap kisses the top of her head) I won't be saying that you are going to give us an heir... As more than that... I'll say that you are making my Sanskaar's family complete... Thank you so much for this happiness...!!

Everyone blesses Swasan and then leave to their respective rooms... Just then Sanskaar realizes something...

Sanskaar: Swara... when did you come to know about this...??
Swara: (closes her eyes and says in one breath) Two days before...!!
Sanskaar: What...!! How can you be so careless Swara...?? You knew how dangerous it could be but still you went there to Aditya and Satya...!! How could you do this...??

Swara caresses Sanskaar's cheeks and holds his hand... She keeps his palm on her belly...

Swara: You remember the time when Satya pushed me and you held me... (Sanskaar nods his head) I don't know whether you realized it or not but when you held me you felt the presence of our baby back there only... The relief and happiness was clearly visible in your eyes...!! (takes a deep breath) Our baby gave me the strength to fight and bring you back... and I know that nothing can happen to me unless and until you are there...!!
Sanskaar: And I'll always be there for you... Forever and ever...!!
