"What is this about?" Sam demanded, a bit upset as Gabriel was not John.

Gabriel stepped forward, "It's about the other angels, they've found me, I'm not safe alone anymore."

"So, you want me to protect you or something?" He inquiries.

"Yes, I still need to keep a low profile, but I do need protection," the archangel hesitated. "and somewhere to stay."

He continues, "They broke into my apartment and tore up the place!" Gabriel said angrily

"Why can't you just poof yourself somewhere else?"

"If I could I wouldn't be here now, would I?" He replied bluntly, "That's a bit risky, they're everywhere."

"I guess you could stay," Sam said, unsure. "If Deans ok with it."

Gabriel let out a exasperated sigh. "Oh c'mon Sam, you're a man, Samsquatch up!"

"Fine," he answered. "but don't get under anyone's feet."

"It's a deal then." The archangel grinned before disappearing and letting the hunter rerurn to his dream.

As Sam slept, the archangel on his dresser watched him sleep. It was his favorite thing to do. He did it all the time since angels don't need to sleep.

Sam woke up to the sound of glass crashing, leaping out of bed almost losing his footing. He ran into the main room to see a young cat sitting on the table, a long-furred pale tabby tom with orange stripes and pale amber eyes. The young cat had knocked an empty beer bottle off the table, Castiel was sweeping up the mess.

"Uh Cas, why is there a cat in here?"

Cas was slightly startled. "Hello Sam, I found a cat." He said smiling as he stroked the cat.

"Does Dean know it's here?"

Castiel shook his head. "I'm planning to surprise him." He replied gruffly before he heard footsteps coming closer. Cas looked around panicked, right as Dean came into view Castiel had the cat under is shirt making it appear as if he had cleavage. Dean stopped shorted of Cas staring at his chest with a concered look on his face.

"My eyes are up here, Dean." Cas said to the hunter who looked at the angel.

"What the hell is that, a tumor?" Dean shifted his weight pointing at Cas' chest.

The cat began to squirm and Dean's eyes widened seeing it move, "It's uh..." Cas tried to come up with a lie, but then the cat sprang out next to his feet.

"A cat... really Cas?"

"He was all a lone and frightened," he spoke, "I thought you'd like company."

"Yeah I like company, yours, but not a friggin cats."

"Dean..." Castiel's blue eyes became sad, guilt tripping Dean.

"Alright alright, fine. The cat can stay."

Cas hugged Dean tightly, "Ok ok that's enough Cas, that's enough." He brushed the angel off.

Sam watched as the cat rubbed up against Dean's leg, "See he likes you." Castiel smiled. Dean rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen.

"Hey Dean, I'm off to work. Be back in a few hours. " Sam grabbed his coat taking the motorcycle.

Sam entered the café, his nose and cheeks were red from the October wind. He instantly began taking orders and serving people.

Gabriel was entered the cafe with a sucker in his mouth. "Hello, Sammich."

"What's up with you entering my dreams like that, that's creepy dude."

Gabriel leaned in the counter shrugging innocently. "I don't know what your talking about, I thought you missed me." He pouted.

Sam rolled his eyes. "No. Anyways I'm guessing you'd like some coffee?"

"Uh, yes. I'd like Black coffe."

"Black, just like your soul." Sam joked, turning around pouring the coffee.

Gabriel was unamused, "You couldn't help yourself now could you." He snorted.

Holding the cup to the angel. "One black coffee for the Shorty."

"I like my coffee how I like my men: tall, dark-haired, and strong." The archangel winked.

Sam flushed dropping the coffee spilling it on Gabriel, the angel's eyes widened as the hot pain seared his skin. "oH MY DAD!" He yelped.

Sam grabbed napkins and tried helping him, but the archangel was hopping all around with coffee spilled on his crotch. He ran to the back pulling off his shirt as Sam stopped in his tracks, he was pulling off his pants throwing to the side sighing gratefully when the pain stopped Now in his boxers. He looked up, Sam's face was now red.

"I...uh," Sam's stare was glued to the archangel's body.

"You like what you see?" Gabriel smirked making Sam turn more scarlet.

Sam offers him his jacket sheepishly, which was twice as big on Gabriel making him look like a child. "Thanks Samsquatch!" He chirps.

After the incident Gabriel would sit on the counter and talk endlessly about the other archangels, still caring about them even after betrayal. Finally 6pm rolled around, Sam took of his apron setting it aside. His shift was over.

Gabriel followed him as he got on the bike when he felt a warm pressure up against his back, he looked over his shoulder seeing the archangel had hoped onto the back.

"What are you waiting for, are we going?" He frowned.

Sam gave Gabriel the helmet. "Saftey first." He said reving up the engine and rode off.
