2 weeks before the wedding

Athena's: POV

I was sitting in the car with Grace, Zack, Nate, and my mom they were finally letting me see where the wedding was suppose to be at. I never really minded much as long as it's outdoors I was fine but now that we are heading there all I could think of was what if I don't like it. I really didn't want to hurt their feelings and it was a little late to change where it would be, but none the less I trusted them. Nate already knew because Zack opened his big mouth, but he seemed to be ok with the location so I was not that worried.

At first there was nothing special about this place, but as we got out of the car I noticed the little 2 store stone house was old but still standing strong. We walked to the front door and were greeted by this older lady well I was being nice she looked like death could take her any moment. My mother and Grace greeted her with warm smiles and hugs, looking around there was really nothing special it looked like an old home with antique peaces placed throughout, from what I could see from the foyer. I followed the group up a stair case that was hidden in the wall off the foyer to the upstairs, the carpet going up the stairs was a blood red and it followed the whole length of the hall. I stopped at the top of the stairs to only see 3 door that lead into rooms I'm guessing. I focused back into what Grace and my mom were talking about and will it was not that important they were just talking about which room would be who's to get ready in. They took a left into this small but spaces room that only had a couch and a full length mirror in it but once I noticed a window I was drawn to it. I looked out over the back yard I'm guessing because it looked like nothing we passed to come into the house. The sight was wonderful, you could see a thin patch of woods that opened up to a sandy beach, I was shocked by the site it was perfect. I turned to the group once I relished that the talking had died down with a smile plastered on my face. I could feel the tiers starting to develop but I was able to push them away "Guy's this is great thanks it will be a perfect place for the wedding." I got hugged by Grace and mom before we left the room. "Athena it gets better want to know why?" my mom asked. "How?" "You'll see!" I did not like how she said that. I just followed them back out of the house to the back yard area. We walked along the beach and throw the path in the thin woods. Everything just looked peaceful, quit, and just natural which is what I wanted for the wedding. I want everything to flow no matter if it was perfect or not. Life isn't so why should a wedding be.

We spent hours here talking about the layout of where I would be walking out from the woods, to how the seats would be lined up. Every detail was done, I might have to suggest to Grace and my mom to go into business for wedding planners. I would not have been able to do this myself and I sure would not of found this place. Speaking of which "Mom, Grace how did ya'll find this place?" "Well...... we were at a café talking about the wedding and going over ever place that we could think of that was outdoor and could have a small wedding at when this flyer for the house was posted on the board for sale. I called and came to look at it and decide it was perfect for your wedding and rented it in the mean time!" my mom told me. I was shocked that it was just luck that they found this place but I was not going to say anything about it I loved it.

We stopped on our way home for dinner at this small diner looking place but the food was great, it had that home cooked taste to it which was something I missed when traveling, so whenever I got the chance for my mom's cooking or Nate's I jump on it. We left with full stomachs and in good spirits. The chat that flowed around the table was wedding plans, parts, and people that were showing up for the wedding. My mom even told me that dad was finally coming around to the ideal of walking me down the aisle. I always knew he would but he was not happy about it one bit before, I guess he starting to see that this is what I want. That was the best part about my dad if it was something that I wanted and was willing to do my best to get it or keep it then he would come around to it or just give it to me if he could. The lite chatter died down as we grow closer to home. I could feel my eyes shutting but forcing them to stay open was becoming harder and harder as the drive went along. It was a long but great day for me and I loved every minute of it but now my body was just wanting to relax in a soft warm bed with strong arms wrapped around me. Nothing could compare to the safety, love, and pure bliss I feel when they are holding me.

Feeling the car stop I opened my eyes a sliver and noticed that we were in my drive way. Slowly I made my way out of the car only to stumble and almost fall on my face, but Nate was there to stop my fall. Once I was up right again he picked me but bridal style and carried me up to my room laying me on my bed. Being in a groggy state I was fast asleep once my head hit the pillow, nothing mattered after that.

The rest of the week flow by with wedding plans but I enjoyed every minute of them. It was time to go see the sample of the flower arrangement that had been made and I was nerves again about them but I pushed those feeling away and thought positive about this. They had not let me down about the place and I knew they would not let me down for these either. I think the drive felt long then it was we only drove for a little over an hour before we pulled in to a small mom and pop flower shop. Grace, mom, and me all walked in with smiles on our faces and I was shaking with excitement about the arrangements.

Stepping up to the counter a young girl about a year younger then me plastered a smile on her face. "How may I help you?" I zoned out looking at all the vases and flowers around the shop before I was tapped on the arm. I looked over and Grace was smiling at me when I noticed the girl was walking back with a bouquet in her hands. They were red roses with another black looking flower with them. The red roses were at different stages of opening, like some were fully open while others were only partly open. I had to stay I was stunned from them, you could even smell the fragrance coming off of them. As I stared and felt the flowers a smile grow on my face they were just right for me. I know what you're thinking red, black, and gold for a wedding but I really wanted it to be different, and I wanted it to somewhat match my dress. I looked back and forth between my Mom and Grace. "I love it!" I told them, there smiles only grew with mine. Once I pulled my eyes back to the young lade behind the counter I seen another small arrangement on the counter. They were also red and black but the different was the black flower were roses. I looked them over and I was surprise that the white and little bit of green just made the flower stand out more. "These are going at the end of the rows but will be brought to the reception after the ceremony!" I looked over to Grace and seeing the twinkle in her eye. I just didn't know why it was there besides the fact that I was happy. I could smell the fragrance come off these flowers as well and I melted a little at it. These flowers were perfect for me and they knew it. Grace looked at the young lade and asked where the last one was, I looked over at her confused. But the lade just smile and lift a corsage up to the counter handed it over to Grace. The smile grow on her face if that was possible, it had one red rose and one black rose with some beaded design with it and on a red beaded bracelet. Grace placed it on her wrist and I knew then that it was her maid of honor flowers, but I loved the ideal that she was not holding any flowers. I smiled at her and throw my arms around her and squeal like a little girl. All this was perfect for me and I knew that whatever happen bad or good that I could always count on Grace to stand beside me and help me thru it. With that thought running throw my head I waited until we go back into the car before I pulled my phone out and texted Nate. I wanted all 4 of us to have a nice dinner and get something's out in the open. Even thou Grace already knew that Zack being a vampire she didn't know Nate was one too and she had no ideal about my aura reading. But I felt it was time now for everything to be open to her.
