"Gentlemen," the railroad director announced. "As you know, the race is too begin. Now, this will be no easy event; it will be across this part of America to get to California and back. In time, more lines will be built... By the victorious man of this competition."

Nigel and Hugh glared at each other. Hugh had to find a way to get Nigel out of the picture... He couldn't come from nowhere and shoot him. He had tried that before and that had dire consequences. He looked up to Cullen and smiled.

"As a result, only representatives may be part of this so Mr Bohanen, could you kindly step outside." "What?! But he's my representative. You can't send him out of here if the old man can have his stupid council of children!" Hugh debated. Nigel stood up in a hurry, shoving his chair away.

The host calmed the men down and after said, "Alright. It is announced; Mr Williams and Bohanen will compete against Mr West Dickens. The deadline should be in 3-4 months time. Good luck."

Cullen looked down. His face was happy and he seemed determined. Hugh knew he had a plan... He just hoped it was a good one.
