Cullen and Hugh were sat slumped in there chairs at the Blackwater saloon later that night. At the moment, Cullen was explaining his plan he had smirked about before.
His plan was that he would take good members of the team to California and as being faster, work until done. He would then find Hugh and finish the race with enough time to relax.
They laughed smugly. Everything was served to them on a silver platter... When they spoke too soon.
Nigel burst in and declared that he would win. Because he had a new man that could stop Hugh and Cullen in their tracks. Rufus Higbee Jr. He had a fond history with Hugh, being the first bully when he arrived. He wasn't a civilized looking child and looked even uglier than before.
