"Hurry up in there Gustav!" Snotlout yelled, banging on his door angrily. "We're leaving soon, and if you don't hurry up we'll leave you behind!"

"I'm coming already!!" Gustav yelled back, opening the door with a bunch of papers sticking out from his satchel. A scowl of annoyance was written all over his face.

"Finally, now get your butt over to the docks. The ship could be leaving any minute!!"

Gustav groaned and followed Snotlout, muttering, "who's idea was to go so early?"

"Hiccup's," Snotlout replied, rolling his eyes.

The whole reason they were even going to the docks was because Larry offered to give them a ride back to Berk, since the dragons would've been worned out from flying afterwards.

And what ride you may ask? A ship.

When they finally got to the docks, they found Abby waiting at the plank. "There you two are, what took you so long?"

"This guy over here took a long time packing," Snotlout said, gesturing to Gustav. The teen rolled his eyes and boarded the ship, Snotlout and Abby trailing behind.

Once he was below deck, Abby whispered to Snotlout, "any luck?"

"Nope, still as cranky as usual," Snotlout whispered back. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss the time he was still annoying and careless. At least he didn't have that cold shoulder before."

"He'll eventually get over it, besides, it's not like he's the only one mourning Arsyn's death."

"I hope you're right," Snotlout sighs, "because if he doesn't, he'll be driven insane to finding the traitor."

"We've searched almost every inch of the map Gustav!!" Xian cried, Jena by his side. "Maybe it's time we give up. We're not finding anything on any of the islands."

"We have to keep searching, I know the traitor's still alive," Gustav snapped, opening up a particularly large map of islands. A bunch of red Xs were drawn onto almost all of them, meaning nothing was found there.

"Xian's right," Jena says putting a hand on Gustav's shoulder. "Besides, maybe we got lucky and that person got killed. And you need a break from all this!! Gustav, you can't keep mourning Arsyn forever. We all miss her, but we can't let it get in the way with the things currently around us."

Gustav shrugged her hand away, "fine then, if you guys don't want to help me, then I'll look for the traitor myself! I won't rest until I avenge Arsyn!!"

And with that, he stomped out of the room. Jena sighed, "when will he ever learn?"

"Give him some time," Xian reassures. "Maybe getting away from this island can clear his thoughts. After all, being in the place she died makes his mind focus on her and how he thinks it's his fault."

"You're right," Jena agreed. "He might not heal now, but he will later."

"Duh! I'm always right."

Jena rolled her eyed as Xian exited out the door, leaving her alone in the room. She darted her eyes around, making sure she was alone. Then she opened the window as a Terrible Terror flew inside.

She untied the letter attached to its leg and read:
They still don't suspect a thing?

She wrote on a separate paper a reply:
Nope, now you better keep your promise.

Jena tied the note onto the Terrible Terror before it flew off. It hadn't even been a minute when it flew back again with a new note that read:
I will, as long as they don't find out. Keep up with the charade, but even with a single slip and the boy goes down.

I won't let you down, she wrote back and closed the window after the Terrible Terror left. She shoved the other letters in her pocket and walked out, as if nothing even happened.
