Imagine this.

It was a normal day, well for you. Your parents yelled at you again for being lazy. You and your best friend got in a fight again today. You watched as your ex wrapped his arm around the girl he cheated on you with. You watched as your 2 year relationship went down the drain. It been a month since you caught him cheating, but it still hurts. He was the first person you loved. And now he would be your last.

You got home and the thought never crossed your mind. You had a bowl of ice cream, watched your favorite movie again, and went to take a nap.

Your parents would be home really late. And you knew that if you didn't clean up the house a little bit, then you would get yelled at again. You walk into the garage to get a rake for the leaves, and then you see it. The rope.

You start to think about how it would feel to be gone. To not exist anymore. You push the thought out of your mind and continue on cleaning up the yard.

It was about dusk when you finished and you walk back to the garage and pick the rope up. "Hm Maybe if I hide it in my room, I will always have a way...just in case." You thought to yourself.

So you walk back to your room, throw the rope on the bed and pick up your phone. You notice you have a couple of texts from your best friend. And a couple of messages from facebook. Your best friend apologized and was trying to check up on you. You read them but don't respond. It was normal by now to fight everyday. You look at the messages from facebook and see you were put in a group chat.

It was a bunch of people at school talking about you. Telling you to kill yourself, calling you names. You had experienced this before, but it hit you hard. You glance back at the rope sitting on the bed.

You think of the pros and cons of it, you wouldn't have to deal with the bullying, the hurt, the dread of day to day. You wouldn't be a burden on your parents anymore, they would be happy you were gone. No more fighting with your best friend. The only con you could come up with was there was no coming back.

As the messages continue to flood in, the pros outweighed that con. You started to think you never wanted to come back again. The last one set you off.

"Ikr. I can't stand her. I never wanted to be her friend." It was a text from the group chat, coming from your so called best friend. You type one last message to them all "Goodbye"

You throw the phone and listen to it buzz as you grab the rope and hang it from the ceiling fan. You grab a kitchen chair and wrap the rope around your neck.

"Goodbye" You whisper and kick the chair from underneath you.

They find you minutes later. Your best friend ran from her house to find your lifeless body swinging back and forth. She cries at your feet.

Weeks later the funeral was over, yet the school wasn't the same. Everyone was so nice to each other, no one laughed or smiled. Many cried throughout the day. Your best friend has been out of school since, she can't handle the guilt. Your ex didn't believe it at first. Then the day of your funeral came and he cried and cried. He broke up with her, after he confessed to you that he still loved you at your funeral.

Months go by. Your parents haven't been the same, they moved, and tried to start a new life. But it was quiet without you. Your best friend tried to commit suicide, she still cuts, and starves. She is becoming a ghost. She visits you everyday. Crys on your grave, and decorates it for you. The school is starting to pick back up, it's still quiet though. The ones that made fun of you, they are now depressed, they come to visit your grave once a week to apologize. Your ex comes to see you every night, at midnight he stumbles upon your grave, drunk, or high depending on the day. He tries to cloud the memories with the smoke and alcohol. He wish you never did it.

Years have gone by, even though the kids at school have moved on, they have never forgot. Your parents adopted another child, but on the anniversary of your death they come to visit you, they keep pictures of you everywhere. Your best friend committed suicide. She did love you, she missed you. Your ex cries over you everyday. He wishes he never hurt you, because he still loved you.

When you thought no one cared, think again.
