A huge chunk of Red's arm was bit off clean. The skin peeled off the muscle with it when the zombie sunk it's teeth in and pulled out. Blood gushed out and streaked down his whole arm and his leather. Red cried out in pain. Eli acted quick and tried to rip the undead's head off of his arm. It wouldn't budge. More zombies came at the other side of him, but Jack and Pineapple cleared them away from doing more harm to Red. The undead on Red's arm took another bite. Red cried out again and used his ax in his other arm to split the zombie's head. The zombie suddenly loosened it's grip on Red's arm and fell to the ground."AAAAGH! No no no no no!" Red yelled holding his arm in pain. More zombies were alarmed and started to close in on them.
"Eli, Jack. Go take Chris to the Town. Now. I'll stay here and finish them." Pineapple instructed them. They took Red back to the Town and Pineapple stood at his ground, now furious.
"Come on... come on... I'm right here you pieces of shit! This is my Town dammit! You bastards will be punished!" Pineapple said through gritted teeth. He swiped with his sword at a zombie, and then another, and then another. Through fury and anger he slashed through the undead in the night.
Once Jack and Eli got back to Wolvesburg, they went into Eli's house and put Red on the floor faced up. Eli and Jack looked at each other nervously, not sure what to do.
"What are you doing? Just cut it off already! If you don't... I'll become a zombie." Red said wincing at the pain in his arm. Jack took out an ax out of one of Eli's chests and looked at his arm. Eli became uneasy looking at the gory blood and muscle hanging from Red's arm. Red kept screaming, but tried to calm himself down by breathing slowly.
"... Here goes... oh man..." Jack said. He started to lift the ax up. Eli's uneasy stomach got to him and he turned around and threw up. Jack slammed the ax down on his arm, by his shoulder. Red cried out as Jack slammed the ax down again. Red's arm was now disconnected. Red kept screaming. Blood was now everywhere. A pool of blood was under Chris' arm. Jack threw up a little.
"Alright... I'll... get some bandage to wrap around your shoulder." Eli said and he retrieved cloth and gauze from one of his chests. Eli wrapped it around Red's shoulder. Red was now not in as much pain as before, but he was still in great pain. Eli put a small chair up against one of the walls. Red sat in it. His garments under his leather armor were stained red. He put his bloody ax down on the floor. Red looked down at his missing arm.
"We'll have to get you a prosthetic arm for you, Red. I don't know how... but we'll figure it out." Jack said taking his leather off. Red didn't look up at him or reply back. Eli took off his leather off also. All of a sudden, Pineapple came at the door. He walked in. His whole body was covered in blood and sweat. His sword had blood dripping down it and his hair was thrown around and a small piece was torn out. He was wearing iron armor, but it was all scratched and one of his boots was missing.
"They're all gone, boys. Try to get some rest. Sorry for your loss, Red." He said with a smile. He walked out of the house and walked over to his house. Afterwards, Jack and Red spent the night at Eli's humble home.
The next day Pineapple recognized Red's Acacia house. He came knocking at the door of Eli's home when they were all enjoying coffee at the dining table of Eli's house. Eli opened the door and Pineapple came in. He took a seat at the dining table.
"Hope you all have had a good morning. I've got some things to discuss." He said.
"Yes?" Jack said.
"First... well... I think it'll be a good idea if we border the town. It'll keep the undead out and others so we don't have to worry about them doing damage like Red's arm. Also, Red, I can't have your house here no longer. If you haven't read the rules yet, you have to have your house look similar to ours. I'm not trying to be harsh on you here, since you just lost an arm. But if you need some help to rebuild it, I'm sure Eli or Jack will help you out." Pineapple explained. Red didn't look too happy about this.
"Yeah, we'd help you to get your house fixed up." Jack said. Eli nodded along with him.
"Hmm... well... how about a deal? I'll make a statue, alright? It'll be nice, I promise. It'll be for the town. You'll like it Pineapple, trust me." Red said to him. Pineapple took a moment to think.
"Hmm... Alright. But I still would rather you change your house. I look forward to seeing a nice statue for Wolvesburg." Pineapple replied.
"I promise Pineapple, you'll love it. Just give me a day or two, alright?" Red told him. After, Eli fetched a cup of coffee for Pineapple and they all discussed about the wall for the Town.
Later in the day, Red started making a statue on the sand. It looked like a crossover of a cross and a bird type statue. It was made out of Acacia, Cobblestone, and Oak Wood. Eli walked up to him, he was standing on the top, developing the last details.
"Hey Red, need any help?" Eli said to him.
"Nah, I'm almost done, You think Pineapple will like it?" Red said.
Just then, Pineapple walked over to them. He greeted them with a wave and looked up at the statue. Silence. Eli saw his serious expression, and knew he wasn't liking what he saw. Jack walked over and saw the statue also. Red jumped down off of the statue.
"Well, how do you like it?" Red asked. Brushing his hands off. Silence again.
"Red... I feel guilty of saying this since you just lost your arm but... I can't accept this." Pineapple said. Red looked somewhat angry towards Pineapple. Jack and Eli felt awkward in this situation. It felt like a showdown between the two. Again, silence.
"Well. It looks like you all don't want me here. Isn't that the truth?" Red said.
"Red don't be silly, we don't mind you here. You can contribute a lot to the Town!" Jack said. Jack hoped that would be enough to persuade him.
"No. Pineapple's right. This statue is horrible. If I can't have my Acacia house, then I can't be here. It would be better for the Town. Pineapple agrees." Red said with confidence.
"No, Red. We want you in this Town. Jack's right, you can contribute a lot to here. We need you man." Pineapple told him. Silence. They all stood there awkwardly. Now what? Jack and Eli thought. They all wanted Red in the Town, but Red looked like he was going to go.
Later, at night, the statue still stood on the sand near Jack's house by the water. Everyone lay in the beds, but Red was still awake. He put a boat in the water and hopped in with a paddle. He had already written a note and put at Pineapple's door. He had brung many pieces and items of food and other wood and tools. He paddled out and into the dark night away from Wolvesburg. Everyone knew this would happen, no matter how hard they tried to persuade him to stay. But they never knew Red would be gone forever.
