As Dalton stepped in for the devastating blade to make it's mark on Eli's innocent throat, Pineapple burst through the door behind him. Pineapple leapt at him, and tackled him to the ground. They both wrestled around on the floor, and Dalton luckily got a swipe on Pineapple's arm. Eli woke up to the sound of Pineapple's cry. Eli leapt out of his small bed, in total confusion. Pineapple finally got Dalton pinned to the ground and he put the knife's edge up to his neck.
"What the hell Dalton! Why the fuck were you trying to kill him?" Pineapple said in quick breaths. Dalton looked a little puzzled. Didn't Pineapple know Eli was a knight of Canevas? Dalton thought to himself.
"Didn't you know Eli was a knight of Canevas? He slaughtered many of my friends in Canevas! He's a filthy knight of the kingdom! He even has a badge over there on his chest." Dalton told Pineapple, trying to keep his throat away from his knife as much as possible.
"Is this true, Eli? Were you a knight?" Pineapple looked up at Eli and asked. Eli shook his head.
"No, I never knew about them until Dalton came to Wolvesburg. I just found the badge on my way walking here. I swear I have none other information about Canevas than what I heard last night." Eli said.
Pineapple looked down at Dalton with suspicious eyes. He didn't know what to do. To kill him? Or not to kill him. Pineapple took a few seconds and considered Dalton's fate.
"I'll let you go for now... Dalton. But don't go jumping to conclusions anymore. I don't want any bloodshed unless it's needed. Promise me this won't happen again." Pineapple said to Dalton. Dalton nodded and they both got up and off of the ground. Pineapple after that, instructed them to get some rest. Dalton went back upstairs and found Vop still asleep. Eli on the other hand, couldn't go to bed. He thought hard about how his life had almost ended there, and how Pineapple saved him. Eli fell asleep finally, at 3 am that night.
The next morning, they all kept working on the wall. The wall stretched on the other side of the gate opening Eli had made, and it went along the coast. The wall also ran along the mountainous terrain on the other side, and it connected together way out in the north, where most of the land was inhabited with wild boars, chickens and trees of oak and spruce. The work lasted all morning until the afternoon. After it was finished, they all decorated the inside wall with torches every few yards. It all looked really professional, and they all liked the outcome. After lunch, Jack took Vop and Dalton to go start on a house. Jack took them down the road that Eli and the Town Center/Rules was on. It was near the corner of the wall, but on a road that turned right and headed up north, to the wilderness. There, off of the road on the wall side, there was a small nice area. Vop and Dalton put down their chests and started filling them.
"So here you could just start up a nice home here, just make sure it looks somewhat like ours. If you don't, Pineapple will go bonkers! Heh." Jack told them once they had put down two beds.
After Jack told them this, he went back to his home. He opened the front door and to his surprise, he saw 15 chickens around his chest. He panicked and pushed the chickens out of the way. He had forgot he put many Helen Roses and other plants, seeds, and grain. The chickens had been feeding on it, and the chest was mostly empty, except for a few more petals of the Helen Roses. Jack got angry. But his anger turned into a happiness. An idea rose to him. He didn't want to kill or get rid of them, so he moved them all up to the second floor. He made a fenced square, right by the porch that was connected to the second floor. There, he collected their eggs and populated the big fenced area even more.
It seemed like a short day. The moon rose up already, and the Town was exhausted from their work in the day. Jack still had energy though. He started thinking of ways he could build more to his house. Multiple creative thoughts came to his head, but one stuck out the most. A dock. He would build off of his side-porch, and lengthen a path to a large square area where it could hold 3 different boats on the platform's sides. It would have cobblestone pillars under it, supporting it. He knew Pineapple would love the idea, and they both could make a boat for themselves. But another idea interrupted his train of thought-cannabis. He could make a giant, mass producing farm of it. Or he could even just use tobacco instead. Cannabis was harder to purchase and obtain. He knew this from being a merchant in the past. But he did have those few remaining samples still in his chest under his bed... Jack thought long and hard on what he wanted to do. To please Pineapple and make something for the Town? Or make something for himself that he could get in big trouble for. Jack always loved the thrill of risks. His mind started to steer toward harvesting weed in his basement, when he started thinking back to making the dock. His whole mind was at war. He then decided to start his weed farm.
