I hope you remember the day we first met.

I mean, I almost broke your nose.

We were both new students at a brand new school that had just been established, and naturally, the girls talked amongst themselves and the boys spent all recess playing wall-ball.

Anyway, I was next in line, and you had stayed in the court for three turns. Once the one guy got out, I eagerly skidded up to my position at the end of the court, and you started the game.

Immediately, I ran up to the front, and brought my hand back to hit the ball, trying to impress everyone there with my mad, bouncy ball hitting skills.

The only thing I hit was your nose, and then the ball hit me, making my stumble into you and making us both go down.

It was a mess, really. You got blood on my shirt, and our yells got harmonized as we both fell,

which, you could either call that a good thing or a bad thing.

But as I see it, it led to the most amazing thing in the world.

I laid diagonally across your body.  My arm was under your back somehow. And you turned your head to look at me, hands covering your nose, which was leaking blood, and said,

"Hi, i'm Brendon."
