Odell

3am in the morning I decided to go home and see my little princess.

I unlocked the door and closed it behind me slowly. I creeped upstairs and into my daughters room.

I looked down and smiled seeing her lay peaceful in the crib.

I picked her up slowly, and gentle kissed her forehead.

"Hey Babygirl, it's daddy. I'm sorry that I missed you being born, but.. Daddy will make it up to you." I kissed her cheek and laid her back down.

I left her room and went into the room that Ashley and I shared. I took off my clothes and got on top of her. Kissing her cheek down to her neck.

She moved around then woke up pushing me away.

"What's wrong?"

She glared at me. "Don't ask me that stupid question, you know what's wrong."

"Ashley I'm sor-"

"Save it. You missed the most important day of our lives. You were out there getting sucked off by some hoe."

"How did you know that?"

"Miracle, told me. She called you to see where you were since you wasn't answering my phone calls."

I stayed silent.

"You don't even care about us Odell."

"Yes, I do."

"No you don't, you even said it yourself."

"Baby, I was drunk I didn't mean that."

"Don't tell me that bullshit even if you weren't drunk you still would have said it."

"Whatever Ashley, just be happy that I'm here now."

"Good because I won't be here for long."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"I'm leaving you Odell." She got up and went into the closet and started to pack her clothes.

"Baby wait."

"No Odell, I've waited long enough. I didn't want it to be this way but your no good for me."

"Please babe don't leave, I swear I will change." She put on some pants and a pair of shoes then went into our daughter's room.

"Ashley, please stay."

"No, move out my way."

Once she was finished, she picked up the suitcases and walked downstairs.

"Wait Ashley, lets talk about it."

"No, I'm done talking." I blocked the door so they couldn't leave.

"Move Odell."

"Please baby, lets talk about this." Tears started to run down my face.

"Please." I got down on my knees.

"Odell get up, and move."

"Ashley, come on we been through so much, we even have a kid together."

"I'm can't deal with this abuse."

"Baby please." I lean down and wrapped my arms around her legs.

"Stop, Odell."

"I promise I will change." I looked into the eyes. I could tell she was slowly giving in.

She looked away and sighed.

"Alright." She put the suitcases down and got on the floor with me still holding our daughter.
