After breakfast, I led my brothers up to the attic to show them the small door.
"If this is another one of your tricks, Ricky, I swear." Dwayne said annoyed.
"No it's not another one of my tricks," I said while walking up the dusty stairs. "It's real." We reached the top step and led them again to the back corner where the small dark navy door is. Dwayne and J.D. examined the door.
"Does it open?" J.D. asked.
"I think it does 'cause obviously it has a door knob." Dwayne said while pointing to the knob.
I went over and tried to open it in both directions. "I think it's locked." I said.We sat in silence for a moment and all of a sudden hear noises. "Do you guys hear that?" Dwayne asked.
We all leaned in closer to the door and heard a loud crash sound of glass breaking or something like that. We jerked our heads away from the door. "What's happening?" J.D. asked with a worried look on his face. Me and Dwayne both shrugged our shoulders.
We heard a crashing noise again and immediately ran back downstairs.
