This had to be the best cake that I have ever tasted. It was very moist and you can clearly taste the strawberries in it.

A moment later we heard a knock on the door. I was really hoping it wasn't another disruption from the ghost.

Instead, it was three guys carrying weird equipment in. "Hello, miss." The man greeted, "Were from the Portal Company. We're here to open back up a portal that was here?"

"Yes sir." Lucille responded.

My brothers and I were happy that they came surprisingly a day early. One guy pulled out a stick that flowed neon green lasers. It showed shadows of the spirals near the corner.

"Yep, we found the portal." The man said. "Now we open it back up to get you boys back to your little home."

A wide smile spread across our faces. I couldn't wait to go back home. It didn't take long for the guys to open back up the portal. "Okay, its all set."

My brothers and I went towards the opening. We all said goodbye to her. "Wait!" Lucille yelled and ran to the kitchen. She came back with a piece of paper with a picture of a cake.

"What's this?" I asked.

"It's the copy of the strawberry cake recipe. I decided to give it to you guys to bake at your home." Lucille said with a smile. I smiled back. It would be nice to make something from a new country.

My brothers and I held each others hands and jumped inside the portal. There were mixtures of purple-green-blue spirals and sparkles everywhere until a huge flash appeared.

As I opened my eyes, I saw a raggedy roof. I sat up and saw my brothers wake up, too.

"Where are we?" J.D. asked with a groggy voice.

We heard a familiar voice coming from outside the door. "We're home." I said. We quickly ran out the door and ran downstairs.

We stopped in the middle of the stairs as we heard our Mom speak in a sad voice, "We searched everywhere for them and they weren't anywhere in the house nor anywhere in the neighborhood."

We finished going downstairs and Dwayne called, "Mom?"

Both Mom and Dad looked up in surprised. Mom gasped and yelled while hugging us, "Boys!"

I could tell she was crying because I heard her sniffles. "Where have you been all day?" She asked.

"All day?" I asked.

"Yeah you've been gone probably since around 10 am  it's like 5:30 pm now." Mom said with a questioning face.

"So, in Europe, is the time faster there and here in America it's very slow?" J.D. asked sounding confused.

Mom was confused, too. "Europe? What were y'all doing in Europe?"

"Long story." My brothers and I said together.
