I'm going to work on Jill's order actually, now that I've seen her labordite rings.
HOOK SIZE: H/5.00MM
YARN: Worsted Weight, 4 ply yarn, acrylic
STITCHES: single crochet, double crochet, working in the back loop only
My thigh is 15
My ankle is 10
Length is 18
LENGTH (MAKE 2)
For JILL I made the length 20 inches,
ch 68
Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, dbl crochet. dbl crochet in each stitch until the end. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: in the first chain, BLO, sl st into each stitch across until the end. Ch 2 and tun
Row 3: in that second chain, dbl crochet in the BLO in each stitch across until the end. Ch 2 and turn
Row 4-5: repeat rounds 2-3
Repeat Rows 4-5 until you reach the size needed to fit around the calf. Since Acrylic tends to stretch, I think 11 inches for Jill is a safe size. I'll stop at 11 inches. For me this was 14 rows of double crochet.
Leave a long end to whip stitch together.
ANKLES (Make 2)
ch. 16
Row 1- single crochet in each stitch across. ch 1 turn
Row 2 - Repeat row 1 in the BLO and repeat rows until you reach desired length. I kept in mind the stretch, so I measured 8 1/2 inches for her 10 inch ankle.
I sewed the elastic together and was prepared to sew the top ribbed part when I noticed I hadn't even started. It's Wednesday night, and I'd like these shipped by Friday. I spent 47 minutes on the ribbed knee patch and my mind has shifted. When I look at the jeweled tone leg warmers, they don't have that detail and they are thigh - high.
Calculate all the time I spend crocheting and I see I've pondered about my relationship for hours.
