Sweat washed my face as I woke up with a scream and me breathing hard.
I ran a hand through my wet hair as I studied my breath.
Raphael came in through the window before heading to sit beside me.
"What happened love?"
I couldn't reply my throat was too dry as I just cried.
He held me close wrapping a blanket around me, letting me relax.
"The institution, they said we couldn't be together. It was rather you leaving or me not being a shadow hunter." I started.
"Y-you left and I was all alone." I sobbed once more as his grip tighten.
"I'm not going anywhere love. I've been alive for years I don't give up that easily." Raphael said.
I nodded closing my eyes.
"Lay down love, I'll stay a while." Raphael said as I nodded.
I woke up once again five hours later to Mom setting my clothes on chair.
"Morning Sweetheart." She said as I sat up.
"Morning Mom, what time is it?" I asked.
"It's 10 o'clock, I'm surprised you are still not sleeping after that nightmare last night." Mom said.
"How did you?"
"Raphael left a while ago before one of Clave (since most of you had a bitch attack for spelling it wrong) members walked in... You two are cute together."
"But the institution will never allow us to be together." I said as Mom rested a hand on my shoulder.
"You never know sweetheart. Now get dress I'm making Simon take you out for breakfast."
Mom walked out as I sighed softly getting up.
Something fell out of sweat pockets, I looked down to see a necklace, with the letters S&R craved into it.
I put it around my neck before heading into the bathroom.
Simon had his arm around my shoulders, his daylight ring helped him not to burn to death.
"Thanks for making this for me, so I don't burn." Simon said as I nudged his shoulder.
"No problem... So Raphael."
"He can't stop talking about you, it's Saga this, Saga that. He loves you." Simon said.
He opened the diner's door for me as I stepped inside.
I got my usual fruit salad and orange juice as Simon got a coffee.
"He left this in my room last night." I said showing him the necklace Raphael gave me.
"Oh yeah, I helped him pick it out."
I gave Simon a look as he moved uncomfortably in his seat.
"He threaten to rip my lungs out, what was I suppose to do?" Simon asked.
"Shadowhunters and downworlders don't mix, if the Calve members find out. It's rather me not being a shadow hunters or Raphael out of my life. And I can't lose him." I said as Simon sighed.
He dugged into his bag pulling out a couple of pages, he handed them to me.
There were pictures of me in the distance with Clary, Izzy, and Alec.
"He? He took these?" I asked as Simon nodded.
"I might've let him borrow my daylight ring." Simon said as I giggled.
"I can't make another one, you were a one time thing." I told him as he laughed.
"I know, now finish eating you're training with Alec in thirty minutes."
I swiped Alec's ankle as he fell to the ground with a thud. He groaned as I pulled my hair back into a ponytail."So, still think I need training?" I asked Alec as he shook his head.
"Nah, we're done for today, it's Clary's and Izzy's turn." Alec said as I nodded.
I was in the shower relaxing my muscles, showers are the only way I could not care about the world.
I jumped as hands touched my waist and lips pressed on my neck.
"You're way too tense."
"You shouldn't be in here, no matter how much I want you here."
Raphael laughed causing chills to go down my spine.
"I'll leave, but don't take too long." He kissed my cheek before I heard him walk out.
I laughed quietly before finishing my shower.
