Draco's POV

Hermione opens our common room door and we walk in. My eyes widen as I take in how amazing everything looks. On the northern wall there is a huge fireplace with tan couches and chairs. On the eastern wall, a bookcase with any book imaginable. Next, on the southernwall, a chair sits next to a huge window that overlooks the lake. Last, on the western wall, there are 3 doors. I slowly make my way around the room and come to a stop in front of the door on the left where I slowly turn the doorknob. When I open the door, I instantly know that this is my room. The walls are decorated with a green paint and the bedspread accents it with a dark black. I look more around the room and see that there is another door which must lead to the bathroom. I like this room, its more curved towards my likes than the normal dorm rooms and for once, it feels like a real home to me. I walk out of my room and head over to Hermione's door. I knock and shortly after hear her yell, "Come in!" I walk in and gape at her room. She has a bookshelf on one end of the room and a collage on the other. I walk over and look at the pictures on the wall. She looks so happy and carefree in these pictures, definitely not like the Hermione I saw during the war. After a couple minutes of silence, I turn around and am about to talk when I see her bedspread. A smirk comes to my face. "So, a gray bedspread. The color of my eyes." I say. She looks down at the bedspread and as if just realizing where the color came from, she starts to blush. My eyes soften as I look at her. 'She is cute when she blushes.'

Hermione's POV

I walk towards my room after exploring the common room and I quickly open the door. I barely even look around when tears come to my eyes. Professor McGonagall added in a collage wall for me with pictures I didnt even know existed. There are some of Harry, Ron and I; the Weasley's and I; and lastly pictures of my parents and I. A tear slips down my face and then I look back around my room. Everything seems so perfect, except... for the bedspread. I point my wand at it and say "Adern". The bedspread changes to an icy gray. 'I wonder why I thought of that color.' I think to myself. Suddenly, before I can make a connection, there is a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yell and Draco walks in. He looks around for a while, taking my pictures in. Finally he turns aroun and his eyes land on my bedspread.  "So, a gray bedspread. The color of my eyes." He says with a smirk. My eyes widen as I finally make the connection and a blush comes to my face. To distract myself, I look around my room, not meeting his eyes until I spot my camera. "I think I have another picture to add to my collage wall." I say with a small smile. He looks at me with a questioning gaze as I hold up the camera. "What's that?" He asks. "Its called a camera, a muggle invention." I say with a smile. "Anyways, say cheese!" I snap the picture and when I look over at Dracos face, I break down laughing. He looks so confused on why we are saying cheese and its priceless. Being my normal clumsy self, I start to lean backwards and fall off the bed which makes both of us laugh. Soon, the picture comes out and I smile. With a flick of my wand, I make a copy for Draco and hand it to him. "Thanks" he replies as he looks at it. I nod and say "Um, Draco. I'm going to go to bed." I say. He nods."Good night, Hermione." "Good night, Draco." I reply back. He walks out of my room and closes the door. The second he leaves, I take the photo we took and I place it among the rest of the photos. I step back and look at it with a smile as I head to bed.
