Chapter 24 The Ball

Pauline's POV

Its the most awaited day but I'm so scared, i dont know what Im supposed yo do there Because Ive never been to a ball once and also it will be full with vampires and stuffs im not yet used to things around here. What if they dont like me or what if they eat me OMG i dont want to attend the ball, what if someone.....

"Would you stop thinking about nonsense" Natalie said while giving me with her annoyed look

"I just dont know what to do i mean look at these stuffs im not used to these lets just cancel the ball plsss" i said

"What did you just say?" Natalie said walking towards me

" I just dont want to be killed thats my point!" I said

"And who will kill you?!" Natalie said

"Uhhhmmm those hungry vampires" i said with a duh face

"They wont do such thing because you are my brothers soulmate." Natalie said

"Yeah whatever!" I said while trying to avoid her gaze

"What is your problem?!" Natalie said angrily

"Well isnt it obvious im just a weak human or food to your kind and im your brother's girlfriend? I will just bring shame to you and your whole family. I cant take insults from people it breaks my heart easily thats my problem ok?!" I said while screaming at her

"I know you are scared but look its not their decision that you are my brother's soulmate he's been looking for you for along period of time they should be happy because my brother found the girl that gives a meaning and color to his life. Dont think that you are a shame on us because you will never be. Be proud girl. Now take a shower and we only have 5 hours to fix you" Natalie said with a calm voice

I quickly hug Natalie shes been a good sister to me I love them all and now I will be proud that Im Luke's girlfriend.

Luke's POV

Tonight I will propose to her i hope she will say yes the entire kingdom will see how much I love Pauline.

"Your Highness Princess Natalie said that Miss Pauline is ready. " the servant said

Then as I look in the staircase I saw the most beautiful girl I just dont know how to describe her, I cant believe that she will look like that it made me fall in love more to her.

"How do i look?" Pauline said

"Uhhhmm" i lost my words i dont know what to say.

" do i look bad?" Pauline said while looking at her gown

"What will you say brother?" My annoying sister said

All i manage to do is to swallow i dont know what to say.

"I told you Natalie i look bad wearing these things makes me look bad!" Pauline said and shes about to cry. Its mu fault im so stupid

Shit Luke say something.

"I just dont know how to describe your beauty." I finally managed to speak

"Really?" Pauline said

"Yes" i said " lets now go the guest are waiting for your arrival

Pauline's POV

Im so nervous I think the whole palace can hear my heartbeat I hope it wont attract crazy vampires.

"No they wont" Luke said

"Stop reading my mind I hate you!" I said angrily giving him a pouty lip

"You do?" Luke said with a smirk on his lips

"Yes!" I said

Then suddenly i felt his lips crash into mine i just cam help but to respond to his kiss every time we kiss i forget everything its like we are the only one in the world.

"Ehem"

We broke the kiss i was shy because Nadine and Louis is standing near us.

" Pauline my dear you are so beautiful" Nadine said

"Thanks" i said while i hugging her

" Pauline we will go inside once your name is called the door will open and you will walk towards us ok?" Louis said

"Ok?!" i said not really sure what to do

" you can do it girl" natalie said

They all went inside leaving me alone. Ok Pauline you can do this you will just walk alone with the vampires around you dont be scared.

"Lets all rise and welcome Pauline"

The door opened and i walk towards Luke everyone is looking at me i dont know what they are thinking i think they hate me omg I dont want to do this anymore.. I just continued walking and walk towards Luke then suddenly the lights went off...

"Guess whos back?" A voice from somewhere was heard around the room.
