Chapter 2- The shortcut

Paulines POV

"here it goes" i step in the grassy road of course im freaking out i dont wanna see frog snakes and what ever disgusting thing there i just keep on wishing that those things are not there.

    while walking i can feel it again someone is staring at me but i dont know where the thick fog covered everything i can barely see my cousins im pretty scared right now i dont know but i think something will happen.

"hey Brenda are we near the house?" I asked nervously

"we will walk for an hour before we get in the house" Brenda said while walking fast

"and why do you seem so nervous" Ella added 

"nope im not nervous i just dont like to walk anymore" i lied about not being nervous then suddenly a frog jump from nowhere i screamed like im gonna die then i trip in to something and my knees landed first i was lucky that im wearing a sweat pants..

"hey what happened?" michelle asked with a concern tone in her voice

"i.....i..i saw a f-frog" i said while shaking yeah im scared of frogs  

           My cousins and their friends laugh at me while michelle is trying to get me up

"you are afraid of something smaller than you come on" Brenda said while laughng hard

"its like you're gonna die does it hurt?" Ella said while laughing hardly like brenda and with a teasing tone

"no it doesnt hurt" but i have to admit it to myself it hurts badly i wish i can walk properly so they will not tease me, i stand up and look for any damage in my sweat pants, then suddenly my cousins called michelle so i was standing there alone still looking at my pants and then they all run leaving me behind i can barely see them the fog is so thick but i can still hear their laugh and voices so i followed it then someone screamed then there was a silence OMG...

Luke's POV

"shes so beautiful" i whispered then James chuckeled

"i've never seen you like this before you're soooooo inlove" James said while smilling

   i just smiled at him back as i watch my beautiful girl walking, i can sense that she is nervous because of her heart beat she asked her cousin and one of them sense it shes nervous then she lied now i know shes bad at lying shes now trying to be brave then suddenly a frog jump infront of her she screamed and run and trip into a rock falling knee first.

"ouch that hurts" James said while chuckling

     i want to help her now i want to go there and let her stand up and kiss everything that hurts but it will ruin the plan. thankfully her sister is there to help her stand, while her cousins are trying to tease my beautiful girl.

"awww how sweet" James said

     the girl i think named Brenda called michelle and said that they are going to run. but michelle refuses so she drag michelle and run leaving my Pauline alone, ofcourse she run towards them but she can barely see them because of the fog i made.

"i think its time to get my princess" I said while standing up 

   the 5 men stood in their places and then james went to her sister one of the girls screamed and then one men put his hand on her mouth and started running with their vampire speed.

PAULINES POV

"michelle....... brenda....... ella .. w-where are you? please answer me.." I said and tears are now building in my eyes i dont wanna be alone what is happening

"H-hey guys this is not a good joke please answer me" I said with a shaky voice but the silence answer me i wanna run but im scared the place is covered with thick fog i tried to stand up but my legs are like jelly soo i just seat near the tree and cry 

then suddenly i hear foot steps going towwards me when i look up i saw this gorgeus man he has this stunning face, perfect nose, beautiful and moist lips, he have a dark brown hair,he have a perfect body i mean a hot body every girl would want to be his girlfriend but what caught my eyes the most is his beautiful green eyes.

i was still amused at his face im still looking at him then we made eye contact i dont know how long ive been looking at him but im comfortable and i just love looking at him, but i broke the eye contact im getting insecure at my face, rightnow probably i have swollen red eyes.

"w-why are you here" i said breaking the silence

"i have your sister and the others" he said calmly

"WHAT!?" i stood up trying to be brave "what did you do to them? where did you bring them? give them back to me"

"they are with my men if you dont go with me something bad might happen to them" he said

"What do you want money? we can give you that just dont hurt them please im begging you release them" i said while tears are streaming down my face 

"just come with me and they will be safe" he said as i look at his expression i can see that he is in pain 

"NO" i said trying to run away hes now infront of me "w-hat are you i mean who are you no i mean... i mean yeah" i said while i was still shocked at what happened

"my name is Luke Salvatore and im a vampire" he said calmly

"what a vampire?! they dont even exist" i said screaming at him

"YES we are true you want a proof?" Luke said then he open his mouth and release his fangs 

omg he''s a vampire omg im dead im dead im dead God please help me i dont wanna die now im still young my gosh maybe he already drunk the blood of---- i was cut off when he speaks

"no they are safe i will not drink their blood" Luke said trying to convince me "i will not hurt them just go with me"

"you read my mind?" i said ammused 

"yes its one of my powers" he said "now will you go with me my princess?"

"w-hy me? my cousin is more beautiful than i am why dont you go with her maybe she'll come with you" i said like i was stabbing my own heart i dont know why but it hurts me to say those words to him 

"because you are my soulmate" he said 

"how sure are you" i said while gving him a questioning look

"im sure 100% sure, come with me before i force you to do so" he said taking few steps towards me then i took a step back then i finally hit the tree hes still taking his steps towards me and now our lips are almost touching. i can feel his cool breath its soo minty his lips are soo beautiful i just wanna kiss him. then he kiss my lips before i response to him i mentally slap my self and remove my lips from him and look the other way now he is kissing my neck.

"you're lips are so sweet" he said kissing my neck then he stop and then i felt a little pain in my neck i know he is drinking blood, but i dont wanna let go i love the feeling then suddenly im feeling dizzy and my eyes are now closing then i was welcomed by darkness.

LUKES POV

i kiss her lips and tasting it, its so sweet i want to have more i know she want it also but shes just stopping herself then she remove her lips and look the other way exposing her neck i kissed her neck then i stop finding a good spot to bite i want to taste her soo badly so i bite her taking her sweet blood not just sweet blood but its the best tasting blood ever i can feel her getting weak but i just cant stop till she fainted i remove my fangs in her neck and i lick her wound so it will heal fast i carried her going to my palace.
