"Hey girl," Jasmine a girl from my class called as I walked down the hallway. Senior year, is there anything better. This was the finally step to getting the hell out of the hood. I waved and continued down the hall. The smile plastered to my face was indescribable. I was ahead of the game. I already had 4 scholarships and 2 out of 4 of my top colleges accepting me to begin school next fall. I had made incredible progress but I had icredible people pushing me.

"Hey bae." My smile widened at the sight of the most prefect boyfriend in the word. I sped up my steps a little and almost jumped into his arms. I had missed him like crazy because he had been working insane hours to save money for school. He hugged me tightly and pecked my lips.

"I've missed you." I said shyly. Why did he make me shy still?

"I missed you too bae. Feel like it's been forever since I've seen those thick hips." He joked. I slapped his arm.

"Shut up Ty."

"Yuck! Why must you two be so cute? It's sickening." Ken complained as she walked up. I laughed and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"Where your other half?"

"What you mean? I'm whole." She rolled her eyes.

"What are yall arguing about now?" Ty asked shaking his head.

"Why don't you ask yo boy?" Ken said with attitude.

"Yall be back good by the end of the day." I said brushing her off.

"No fuck that nigga. He ain't shit." I couldn't count how many times I had heard her say that about Jacks only to call me later that night geeked up about how sweet he is. I shook my head and ignored her.

"Kennnn," I whined as we slowed in front of Ty and my first bell class.

"Whaaattt?" She imitated.

"We don't have any classes together."

"Well I'm just not as smart as you guys."

"You mean you're too lazy for the work load." I replied.

"Same difference." She shrugged and laughed before pulling me into a tight hug. "Besides i don't want to watch you and Tyler drool over each other. See you at lunch." She waved bye and Ty and I headed into class.

"Bae, have I told you,  you look especially thick in those jeans."

"Thicker than a snicker?" I teased.

"Thicker than a whole bag of snickers." He laughed. I playfully hit him before we took our seats. This was going to be the best year of my life.

"What were we thinking?" I whined as I plopped down at the lunch table.

Ty laughed, "its not that bad bae."

"Yes it is. We already have 5 times the workload of honors chemistry." I sighed.

"Well bae it is for college credits so..."

"And you wanted me to get in that class. Girl boo, im going to enjoy my senior year not kill myself." Ken laughed. I rolled my eyes and picked up a fry off of Ty's tray.

"You still bein mad about nothin."

All of us looked up to see Jacks standing behind Ken. She rolled her eyes and act as if he wasn't there.

"Kennedy."

"Jackson."

"Kennedy."

"What?" She yelled turning toward him only to be caught in a kiss.
