With all that has happened
And all that will
I am afraid
When asked by a teacher
About how I feel towards the current events
In one word
My answer was "fucked"
There is no way that I could narrow down all of my feelings in another word
It defines perfectly everything I feel
Fucking afraid
Fucking worried
Fucking angry
Fucking disgusted
Fucking depressed
Fucking lost
Fucking alone
I am proud of everyone who's standing up
Getting attention
And although it's all for nothing
We can't change what has happened with these protests
We do gain a voice with them
And we will continue to fight for that voice
And make sure we are heard
This is nothing no one will take from us
And we will make sure that it stays that way
