Chapter Five

Black Nights point of view:

I screamed as I felt something moving within me and when it finally reached my heart everything stopped. I stood there looking around everything seemed different. The wind was saying something, whispering, telling me to go, I think. I slowly put my sword back with in the box, picking it up, I made my way out of the alley way. I passed someone and they hissed in pain. I looked over my shoulder and saw the one Karai called Leo. I hesitated before deciding to just go over to him. I squatted down and looked him in the eyes before talking.

"You don't look so good...Leo right?"

"Yea" was all he said.

"My names Paris."

"Hi" was all he managed to say before wincing in pain. I watched him and tilted my head a bit.

"Did I hurt you?" I asked

"A little bit but I'll be fine." I was about to ask him something when I felt a pulse in the ground. "Place your hand on him" it said softly in my head. "Why?" I asked it in my head. "You now have the power of the earth and that means that the life of plants flow within you. Place your hand on him and I will mix the proper plants to make medicine. He dose not have suffer from what was not meant to happen." "Alright" I finally agreed with the new voice in my head. I slowly picked up my hand and laid it on his chest. I felt his body tense under my hand as it started too glow gold. I looked at his face and decided that I should explain what I was doing.

"I cannot heal you but I can ease the pain for you. "

"....uuuhhh....thanks. .." he said

"You do not need to thank me and I am sorry for what I've done." I stood up and walked off quickly. I turn the corner, headed down the block, just to run onto Austin. He looked at me with a questionable look on his face.

"Where were you?" I ignored him.

"Motorcycle mode please"

"What happened?"

"I said motorcycle mode please"

"Not until you tell me what's wrong!"

"Who do you think your talking too?" I asked feeling a sudden burst of confident that I never had before towards my dear friend.

He looked at me in disbelief, as I continued, "Am I thinking strait or did you just tell what me no? I own you, not the other way around. I tell YOU what to do and YOU do it. Got that?!" Austin nodded and took a step back. "Good, now motorcycle mode." He went to the street and transformed. I strapped the box to his side and got on. My black helmet popped up and I placed it on. After getting into position, he speeds off, leaving alone the fact that I yelled at him for no reason.

Raphael point of view:

We carried Loe to his room, carefully, not making any sudden movements. He didn't say a word to any of us after we talked to Sensei. Leo laid on his side as Donnie cleaned and bandaged up his back. Mickey brought extra pillows so that he was comfortable. I sat on the floor across from his bed and he just looked at me. Donnie left out with the first aid kite and Mickey pulled a blanket over him before leaving out saying goodnight. I sighed and look down.

"How ya' doin Leo?"

"I'm fine"

"Do ya' need anything? painkillers, ice pack, something to eat"

"No.... I dont need anything."

"Why not? ..... you ain't doin dat whole 'learn from the pain thing' are ya's"
