And for three weeks, I saw the same boy. The same boy sitting behind the counter of the dusty old bookstore. The boy with the mess of curls, the boy that smiled as he read the books when no one else was here. He was rather cute, actually.

Three weeks of being in college and Dani and I had already became close. She was like the sister I never had. As I walked in the dorm room door, I saw Dani sitting on her bed, as soon as she saw me, she looked up, and smiled as big as she could. "I'm talking to someone." Was all she said before running over to me, and showing me the picture of the boy she was supposedly talking too. He was cute, blonde hair, blue eyes.

"What's his name?"

"Niall. Isn't he the cutest!"

"He's pretty cute, yeah."

"I know!" She gushed, grabbing a shirt and hugging it, causing me to laugh deeply.

It was around ten o'clock when Dani's phone rang loudly, waking me up from my sleep.

"Hello?" I heard a small voice on the other side of the phone, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

"Um. Well yeah I guess you can come over. I mean, my roommate and I were fixing to go to bed, but yeah, you both can come on over."

Then she hung up the phone.

"Niall and his friend Harry are coming over, hope that's okay with you."

"Um, it's fine, I guess."

"Great." She smiled ear to ear.

About 15 minutes of trying to fix myself, I looked about as bad as I did before.

"That sweater is cute." Dani said, tugging on my sleeve.

There was a slight knock on the door, "He's here!" She whispered, dancing to the door. And when she opened it, it was Niall.

And the boy from the bookstore.

They both entered, and Niall sat on the bed with Dani. I'm guessing the other boy was Harry, he took a seat on the desk chair I had brought from home.

The boy from the bookstore was the first to speak.

"Do I know you?"

It was directed towards me.

"I don't know. Maybe?"

"Yeah, I think I know you. You come into walls all the time."

"Walls?"

"That old bookshop, I see you there a lot."

"Well then, yeah. I guess we do. Small world?" I let out a light laugh, which is not what he was thinking of.

He just stared at me. He had his eyebrows furrowed, like he was angry that I was trying to make conversation.

"Well,I would appreciate it if you found a new book store."

"Why?" I was a bit taken back by his sudden remark. Why is he being this rude? Did I say something?

"Does it fucking matter?"

"I, I guess not."

At this point of interaction, Dani and Niall were deep in some talk about what they were majoring in. From the part of the conversation I seemed to intrude on, Niall was majoring in philosophy and I already knew Dani was majoring in psychology.

I really hope they leave soon. I know it's rude for me to say that, but Harry is a very rude person and I have absolutely jack close to nothing to do. It would also be rude of me to go to sleep while they're here, too.

It was three hours later that they left.

I laid in bed, closed my eyes, and right as I was about to hit sleep, Dani's phone rang.

It was Niall.

They stayed on the phone for another three hours.

I really like Dani, she seems nice, but I can't take six hours of her and giggle bot squealing at each other.

When sleep finally approached me, I let it in.

The next morning, when I woke up Dani was gone again. I'm pretty sure she said she had morning classes, but I can never trust my memory completely. I got dressed, and did the one thing I'm probably going to regret.

I went to the bookshop.

When I entered the rusted building that apparently is 'Walls', I saw Harry at the counter. He didn't look up from his book.

I went down the nearest isle, grabbed the most interesting looking one at the time, which was something called 'Remember To Forget', and headed towards the checkout.

Finally, Harry decided to awake from his daydream inside the paper.

When he saw me, he immediately stopped.

"I'm not checking you out. Go somewhere else."

"Why? All I'm doing is purchasing a book."

"No, you're not. You're here to annoy me, so leave."

"What makes you think that? You're judging me and you don't even know my name."

"You usually waddle yourself down adult fiction, just like every other prude nowadays, and get yourself a book. This, missy, is not adult fiction. Now leave. Don't come back."

I took a step back, all the while I could feel tears making their way to the outside.

"Chase. My name is Chase. and you're still wrong."

And with that, I left.
