Callen pressed pause on the tape and sighed.

"Part two?" He asked.

"Yes please."

He unwrapped his arms from me and I wiped my tears from my face. I wondered what a therapist would say if he saw us right now. Was it healthy to watch videos of your dead son with your husband you were about to divorce a few hours ago?

Maybe it wasn't but I still felt like a part of me had come back from the dead after hearing Noah's laugh again for the first time in months. It hurt, god it hurt like a bitch, like having blades cutting through every fiber of my being, but it felt right as well. Like it was something I needed.

"Ready?" Callen whispered, sitting back on the couch and wrapping his arms around me.

I nodded and soon, the screen came alive.

Callen and I watched tape after tape of our family. Soon, the pain and sorrow was mixed with laughter at one of our jokes or at Noah's reactions and actions. We had both stopped crying since I don't think our bodies could have produced any more tears. Callen was still holding me tight though.

"Do you remember when he wouldn't go to sleep that one night and we were both so exhausted we threatened to call Captain Hook so that he wouldn't move anymore." Callen asked, chuckling.

I laughed. "He didn't get up after that. I remember the first time he called me mom. I was so surprised I almost dropped him but I ended up just doing puffy kisses on his stomach to make him laugh."

"He had the best laugh. No ringing tone could do his justice."

"Definitely."

"Should I put the tape of our trip to Disney?" Callen proposed. "Do you remember how happy he was when he took the picture with Mickey?"

"Almost as happy as you were." I teased.

He stuck his tongue at me and got up to put another CD in the player. We fell asleep in each other's arms on the white couch of his apartment under the sound of our little boy's laughter.

So I didn't do a lot of author's notes in this book because they would be as long as the chapter in itself and that would be annoying for you to read but I just wanted to say there are only seven chapters left to upload in this story! I can't believe it's almost completely published already but I'm so happy when I see you guys voted or commented so please keep that coming, it really makes my day!
