Nick-  (Present Day)

"Nicolas!" I flinched as my teacher Mrs. Crotch slammed her ruler on my desk waking me from my sleep. "Ma'am?" I yawned, rubbing my sleepy eyes. She strolled to the chalk board pointing to the problem written on it.

She began to read, "A totem pole caste a shadow forty five feet long at the same time that a six foot tall man castes a shadow that is three feet long. What's the height of the totem pole Nick?"

"Umm, ninety?"

Her facial expression said it all. She was expecting me to get it wrong, but luckily for me both my moms are math professors at San Diego university. I picked this up when I was ten, it's a walk in the park.

"Corrected.." She mummer under her breath. "I guess you were paying attention."

"Ha yeah, like I said before, it's all about sleeping durning class." She scowl, rolling her eyes and proceeding to the next problem.

Let me tell you more about myself. I am a smart ass, have a smart mouth and a smart brain. I'm cocky but not the asshole cocky way. Very conceited, all guys want me.

Shutter.

The thoughts off all these guys wanting to get into my pants. I have to act like I'm into guys, I'm in the curtains. (AN: It's like in the closet but for straight people) Curled up way in them, I can never untangle from them, if anyone ever finds out, it's me against the government, and they don't play!

The only person who knows I'm straight, well he thinks I'm confused at the moment, is my best friend, Scott.

I'm pretty sure he wants me too. I have to say I'm the sexiest looking guy in this school. I'm not just saying that, I've won that year book award last year. Still holding the title.

"Now clas-" the loud bell blurted throughout the classroom. I swear the bell is so loud it's like a earthquake. The whole class basically shakes.

"Well I guess we'll go over the next segment, next time." She dropped the piece of chalk and sat down at her desk. Slapping her huge circle glasses back on her foundation plastid face. Grabbing last periods papers and her red pen, just marking the problems wrong.

"Please stack your papers on the corner of my desk," taking my belongings, I grabbed my worksheet; scattering to Ms Crotch desk. She can honestly be scary at times. The way her curved eye brow sticks up to her forehead and the other one chills slightly above the eye lid. Bad plastic surgery.

I walked down the narrow hallways filled with students of all heights, making out, drug dealing and even bursting their boils in the mirrors hung in their lockers.

Eww.

Holding my pretty light green mechanical pencil in my mouth I re-arranged my sweater and two strapped my back pack. Stampeding to my locker and pushing couples all out the way. I twisted my combination three times right two times left and back to right, yanking it from it's slot.

"Yo Nick!" Scott called out for me. I ignored him, flipping through my binder in the cramped space of my locker. I need to find the vocabulary homework for health. It's the end of the six weeks and this paper is going to pull my grade up.

I'm not failing because I'm confused or don't understand what's going on. I'm failing because I'm a smart mouth who always questions the world we live in. Ms. Linus takes points off my grade for that. "Not now Scott."

"Did you lose your homework again? Do you need to borrow mine?"

I shook my head and spotted the twenty five vocabulary words homework sheet. I ripped it from my binder, "lets go."
