Her eyes, they cry. They also hide. They hide her pain and sadness. She cries and cries while dying inside. She tried to keep it locked inside but it just all came out on the paper of a notebook. It scared her to think these written things could ever be the truth. So she took it to a counselor. Stupid her, she thought it would help. Instead things got worse. Sadder and angrier she got until she decided enough was enough and couldn't talk about it anymore.
She felt betrayed, she hurt more and more until she took it out on herself. The first cut was from betrayal. The other two from her lies. She wants to stop but struggles to try. She looks in the mirror and what she sees is a faker of happiness who made her believe that she was really happy.
But deep down she knew.
She knew just how: useless, stupid, ugly, annoying, sad, scared, lonely, clumsy, and pathetic she really was.
And nobody ever noticed it. Nobody cared to notice it. Sure they'd ask if she was okay but she'd say the same thing she always did, "I'm fine. How are you?" She always worried more about others than she did herself. in the end it turned into this.
Now she sits in her room on her laptop fighting back the tears as she types something up. And the first thing she types is: "Her eyes, they cry. They also hide."
