"I can't believe it is almost summer again!" my best friend Amelia said
My name is Lacey and I am in the 11th grade at Smith High-school in Alabama and there is nothing I want more but to hurry up and become a senior, so I am so glad it is my last day in 11th grade.
"I know and we can spend everyday together!" I said
*ring ring ring*
~Yes! I thought to myself. No more Mr. Walters.~
"I am gonna go home and change then I will call you and we can go to Starbucks k?"
"See you later!Bye."
I got in my beige Volkswagen convertible and went home. When I arrived I ran inside to see my parents sitting on the couch waiting on me.
"Hi Lacey!" My mom greeted
"What's going on?"
"Well, we are going to San Antonio for the summer."
I was surprised how my dad just came right out and said because they knew how long me and Amelia had been waiting on summer to get here so we could spend everyday together.
"What!?!?! I am staying here."
"I am afraid you can't your grandma is in really bad shape and we need to go visit."
Then my whole point of view changed.
They could see my facial expression and could tell I was worried. (😰)
"She will be fine though, but you need to go pack your bags because we are leaving tomorrow."
Tomorrow!?!?! I can't even spend one day with Amelia! I can already tell this going to be a bad summer.
