Clinton's POV
My first class was economics and lil Miss red walked into the class late. She looked me in the eyes with much surprise and quickly walk past us to sit down. Our economics teacher said I would be sitting next to her and she looked terrified. I walk toward the table and held myself to not say anything, right now she knows who I am and knows that as soon as we spoke she will be the only one in the unknown yet again, so we'd be quite but still sit together that's fine, I still get to sit next to my girl, we can do this we can make it work.
Maybe not, hurt was evident on my face when she asked some girl to switch seats with her, she saw that and immediately felt bad. One gift we both kept was we could always feel one another's emotions, and I felt she wanted to be brave by moving and I understood. The teacher immediately said no and said she Would give me a tour after school for trying to avoid me. That requires talking this is bad. The bell rang and she basically ran out. How the hell is this gonna work differently?
After a few more classes and alot of girls Tring to give me their numbers, it was finally lunch time and I saw Sai sitting with her friends, they looked happy. She could feel I was near and began to feel a bit uneasy. I tried to rush past them but Kate invited me to sit with them and and when Kate continued to give Sai murder eyes, Sai did something she definitely did not want to do,she spoke to me.
Sai:" hi Clinton we're in the same economic class..."
I could feel how lost she became with each word she said and I was surprised that what we've been both avoiding is happening, on the first day. Last time we only spoke a week after seeing each other. She now knows nothing.
When school was over I saw Sai walking towards me. Ahh she looked perfect I just wanted to get my hands on my girl and kiss her beautiful lips, something told me she could read me (I definitely knew she could) and she began to laugh uncontrollable.
Sai:" you're one funny dude Clinton!"
Clinton :"what makes you say that!"
I couldn't help but smile like a little kid.
Sai:"nothing, okay so I will show you all the important places one needs to know to survive this place, and I will also send you the app that will guide you to those places if you get lost."
Clinton :" sounds good but don't you need my number to send me the app?" I said with a smirk on my face.
Sai:" yes I do, so Clinton give me your number."
She was definitely flirting back and was the complete same person as she was in all the lives but something about her in this life was different, she was way more confident and wasn't afraid of her own beautiful nature. Her true power lies in fully accepting herself and this time around she had a different view of herself.
Clinton :"fine since you're begging, I'm guessing I don't really need a tour since we have the app right?"
Sai :" you couldn't be more righ, Miss Joslin is up to something don't you think? " she said with a smile and an undeniable spark in those beautiful blue eyes
Clinton :" yea I agree with you. Do you maybe wanna grab something to eat before we part ways?"
Maybe I was moving too fast but that's my girl.
Sai:" yea sure, I live with my best friend Kate so she took the car already, so after we eat you're gonna have to drop me home, do you mind?"
Clinton :"not at all,let's go."
She directed me to a cosy restaurant filled with people our age and it just felt perfect.
Sai :" this is my favorite place in the world, weather I'm feeling sad or happy this is the perfect place to come."
I just nodded as she lead me to where we would sit, I'm guessing it's her spot.
The menu came and we ordered fries for the table and one vanilla milkshake and one chocolate milkshake, I smiled as the memories flooded me, no matter what fancy or basic restaurants we went to this was what we alway ordered, but I can't share that memory with her not yet. When the time came I will show her the lives we shared together through memory sync, I've already set the best memories to show her at the right time, I'll show her both the good and the bad.
Sai :"what are you smiling about, thinking of ways to kidnap me?" She said with a teasing smile
Clinton:" maybe. just every time I order something at a restaurants it's always fries and milkshake, and here we are, I'm not even the one to make the order."
She just smiled, she thinks I've used this move on every girl I can feel it.
Clinton :"you mentioned earlier that you live with your best friend, why's that so."
Sai :" well, both my parents seem to not know what to do with their money." I could feel it, it was a lie so I just nodded. She saw I knew and quickly continued. " both my parents are cheating on each other and I know they both are, so when I confronted them separately I ended up with a house, so they really don't know what to do with their money."
It was still a lie but I knew she now believed it because the real reason of the house was gone and real memories were gone so I nodded again
Sai:" what's your story? "
Clinton :" wow umm okay... I was an orphan till I was 10, the couple that adopted me were stupid rich still are so we moved to Amsterdam and lived there for 7 years. This year we moved back here, and here I am." This has always been the story in ever life time, I'm the only one who never truly changes.
She look sad and confused.
Sai :"do you ever wonder who your real mom and dad are ?"
Clinton :"I use to, till the Rods adopted me and they became the best mom and dad anyone could ever wish for, right then and there I stopped wondering about the ones that left me." She still looked Sad but happy with my answers.
Her phone rang and I'm guessing it's Kate since its 20:30 and she's still not home, we actually have been here for a long time.
Sai:"it's Kate, I'll have to get this sorry."
"Kate hi, everything okay?"
Kate:" your parents just left, Sai I told you they were coming and where the hell are you, are you just avoiding them?" I could here the whole conversation
Sai :"ahh man I really forgot, I'm so sorry. After the tour Clinton and I went to get something to eat and we completely lost track of time, sorry sis."
Kate :"you're out with Clinton, ohhh girl yassss!"
Sai:" anyways I asked him to drop me off so I'll be home soon okay?"
Kate :"or you could stay at his place and..."
Sai :" I'm gonna stop you right there because you're insane, see you in a bit. I don't know why but I love your crazy Ass."
Kate :" I'm just saying you could..." Sai hung up on Kate before she continued and looked at me as if she knew I heard the whole conversation.
Clinton :" need to get home?"
She nodded with an embarrassed smile.
When we arived at her house I saw it was the house I've been seeing in my clips a month ago.
Sai:" thanks for the lift, today was really fun not alot of good guys left you know?"
Clinton :" I had fun too, see you tomorrow and this time no running when you see me."
She blushed and replied " I can't promise anything, thanks again Clinton bye."
As she walked into her house the MIST was standing by my mirror, I just looked him straight in the eyes and drove off.
It is going to be different this time.
