I was leaning against the wall in my room again. I was still locked in. I decided I needed to try to escape. I noticed a small window above my bed.
I put my foot on the top of bed and started to climb up to the window. I took off my shoe and smashed it. I mentally high fived myself and smiled for the first time in a while. I seen hope. I jumped out the window which was a pretty high jump. I surprisingly wasn't injured.
I seen Cameron's window and I smashed it with my other shoe. He looked out.
"Viv, are you crazy!?" He shout-Whispered.
"You only live once?" I smiled.
"You're gonna be the death of me grandma.." He jumped out and landed on the grass. I picked up both my shoes and seen my mothers room. I threw a rock this time at it as the lady from earlier looked out.
"Crap.." I grabbed Cameron and made him duck down. The lady shrugged and went back in.
"What about my mom?" I whispered.
"We'll come back for her.." Cameron said.
"Promise?" I asked.
"I promise." He grabbed my hand as we ran to the front of the building.
7 men stood there as the woman was in front.
"Well, Well, Well what do we have here? Oh Vivian and Lover boy,Trying to escape! For your punishment.." She held my mothers neck keeping her still and took out a gun holding it to her head.
'Help me..' My mother mouthed to me as I felt helpless.
"No! Let her go!" I ran trying to stop her and she pushed me as she shot my mother right in front of my eyes.
I dropped to my knees and starting to sob. I lost both of my parents. Even, though they weren't blood it doesn't take blood for someone to be family.
Cameron held me tight as I sobbed.
"Next, time this happens it will be worse." She threw my mothers dead body at me.
One man took me, and another took Cameron as they locked us in new rooms without any windows. Just one door with no way to see out.
I leaned my back against the door. I was done. I decided that I wasn't going to even try anymore.
I closed my eyes and looked at the back of my eyelids seeing the peaceful darkness.
Some, people don't know how beautiful the darkness can be.
The next day, I heard a knock on the door. Of course I ignored the knock.
A man in all black with a mask on walked in and picked me up.
"Let me go jerk!" I hit his back.
The man didn't respond he just took me into another room locking the door behind him putting me down. He then, took off his mask revealing his face.
"Peter Griffin?" I tilted my head.
"Shh.." He put a finger over my lips.
"We're busting out of here." He smiled.
"What if she shoots one of us?" I hit my head.
"She won't. She will think I'm just a worker." He said.
"Cameron, no. You go, escape she won't care if you do but, me she will. I'm done trying." I sat down.
"You can't give up. Please, just try? We can make it out of here!" He pleaded.
"This is the final and last try Cameron. If one of us dies just know that this is all your fault." I said seriously.
"I can live with that." He sat down as we both closed our eyes falling asleep.
In that peaceful moment I felt happiness for just a second.
