if there is anything in the world
i love to see,
it's when someone gets lost in a book.
their eyes are fixated on the page
and they are in an unbreakable trance.
the book has captured their mind
and they themselves, are lost in the story.
they have no perception of what is going on
in the outside world
because their whole being
is in this novel.
they have become apart of the story,
a character observing from the outside.
it is such a beautiful thing to see
because in this moment,
the person is raw with emotion,
their face displaying each one of the feelings they feel
while reading this book.
its so incredible
how in this moment
you are vulnerable to the world around you.
anyone who takes a glimpse at you
while you read
can see directly into your soul
because literature is beautiful
and it draws out your true emotions.
