Mod Foster's parents died in a car crash when she was 4. She was put up for adoption soon afterward, as well as her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. No relatives were willing to take in even one of them, so that was the only option.
Years passed, and all of Mod's brothers and sisters had been adopted. She was the only one that remained, but she, being 12, didn't care-- She had a lot of life left to live and if it didn't happen by the time she was 18, she would be out of there anyway as a responsible adult.
But it turned out it never had to come to that, because in June, she got adopted-- By One Direction.
