"Bye Mom," Aria yelled as she rushed downstairs.
"Bye have a safe day!"came a yell from the kitchen.
The front door slammed behind her, walking out she did a double-take. A tall boy with bright expressive eyes and dark hair was leaning against the oak tree in her front yard playing with something in his hands. Aria took a step forward, leaves crunching underfoot. He looked up, hearing the noise, and gave her a small smile. Aria felt her lips stretch into an involuntary grin, his green eyes sent a Deja Vu feeling tickling down her spine.
"It's nice to meet you Aria," his voice was lulling, soothing, and slightly accented. As if in a dream Aria took another step forward. Suddenly dizzy she braced herself against the house gate. She blinked several times trying to get rid of the cobwebs blurring her vision. The wind sent shivers down her arms and she cursed herself for not grabbing a jacket. She started to head down a path that led to her school when she suddenly remembered the presence of the boy, frowning Aria looked back to the tree where the boy had been leaning against but there was nothing but dust and leaves.
Did I dream him? she thought. Soon after the thought she brushed the sight of the boy off as morning cobwebs. The familiarity of him still tickled at the edge of her mind as she continued her trek to school.

He had shimmered into nothingness as he watched Aria walk away. Rubbing his jaw he thought,
If she just collaborates and doesn't do anything stupid then I can go back home fast and see how Angela is doing.
