(I suggest listening to Timber by Ke$ha and Pitbull and ALSO Feel again by One Republic, The song meaning doesn't really fit... But it is a great song....Well, In some kind of way...It kinda does fit the story...😹 Oh and this chapter fits in with Herobrine's wife's chapter 5.)
Chapter 13- How did you.....?
Ashley and I turned around. I didn't see anyone, but definitely heard foot steps.
A shadow approached us while I grabbed on to Ashley's hand. "Hello? Is anybody there?" The voice asked. An extremely familiar voice.
A knot formed in my throat... "N- N- Nya??" I managed to say. She smiled and did our hand shake.
"It....is you!!" I ran up and hugged her with tears in my eyes. "Where have you been?!" I asked. "I haven't seen you since..." I paused. She seemed to notice. "You..." I started to say.
"Yes Amber. I made up with my dad. It's cool." She said. "You did good with that water stuff back at the Mind Palace." She said. "How did you....?" I said. She chuckled. "I have no idea."
"I hate to break up y'all's family reunion...but um....IM STARVING." Ashley announced. I turned around, shaking my head. "Fine. Nya. Let's walk and find Ashley some food." I said.
We all started walking up to 2 pigs and a chicken when we saw some water and fog. "What the heck is that?!" Nya asked. "I don't know.." But what I did know was that, I felt some sort of connected to it. Creepy. We immediately turned the direction of the water and fog.
Before I knew what was I was doing, I found myself raising my hands, towards the water. "Amber.. What are you doing?!" Ashley whispered. "I don't know." I said back. I realized that I was pulling the wave toward the shore -and someone was in it. The person didn't even struggle to get out of it. Was he/she dead? I pushed my hands down, making the wave crash Down. The person falls, and I gesture the wave to come pounding on the shore. I heard bones crack. Ouch. That didn't sound good.
The person looked up. I was shocked. "Nya, what is she doing here?" I asked.
"I don't know Amber. She shouldn't be, she can't."
"YOU TOLD US SHE DIED." Ashley yelled. I pursed my lips at her.
"Hush Ashley, Notch told me she died." Nya said.
"Notch killed her?"
"No, not really. Just, she doesn't remember who she is and has no memory of you guys."
"That's the same as killing her. I said, extremely angry.
"Um, Im Elizabeth rose chase, and you are?" Behind me, I heard Ashley sobbing.
"You really don't remember me? I've missed you so much. All that we did? All that's gone?" I said, terrified.
She looked confused. "Um, i live in the Black Jungle. I've lived there since Christmas day, 2 years ago. I have a friend, Steve, and a new friend, Jack. Why are you looking at me like that?"
"What do you dream of?"
She told us that she dreams of a grand castle, that used to be grand, but now broken. She told us about a man with white eyes, who holds a ring out to her before being killed by an angel. And that, every morning she wakes up and cries.
"Do you know the name of those men? The palace?" I asked.
"The Angel is Notch. But the man with the white eyes and the palace, I don't know."
"You lived there once."
"Never."
"Face It Amber, she forgot all of it." Ashley cried, stuffing her head into her hands. nya looked happy.
"You are still powerful" I looked over to see Nya narrowing her eyes. "it's impossible. He promised a full conversion. What happened to you? Something happened that you won't tell us. Why? Why was it? What are you hiding?"
"I...." she waited. "....found something.....in the mine."
"What was it? What did you find?" I saw Nya frown at Lily. Or Elizabeth.
"2 things. A sword. A diamond sword that made me do things I have never had the courage to do." Nya's eyes widened by the sound of that.
Nya put her eyes back to normal and said, "The Second thing?"
"The courage to use that sword. And now I know why."
"Why?!" Nya pracically yelled at Lily, being that she is only 3 blocks away from her. Why would Nya all of the sudden yell?
She told us that she was a follower of Herobrine. That her friend Lily was dead, and that fills her with rage. Then she said, "And I use that rage to say to you, Nya whoever, that NOTHING IS GOING TO MESS WITH MY MEMORIES! WHO AM I BECAUSE YOU KNOW-"
Her eyes widened with, was that fear?
" I do not have permission to say."
"Well, I give you permission! Speak..NOW! Who am I? When I held that sword, It told me I was more. It told me that I am a lie. So, I ask you. What is the truth, if Elizabeth Rose Chase was a lie.?"
She suddenly turned to Me and Ashley, like Nya wasnt there anymore.
"You know too? please, because I am scared. Who was I? Because before running away, I remember nothing. i cant remember my parents, siblings, my house,friends. I am living half a lie." Her voice softened.
"If you forgot, Notch had his reasons I'm sure of it. I cannot tell you because if you remember, you wil die. That is what he said."
"What if I defy his laws of death? What if I dont die? What if I refuse to die?"
She then looked up. Not at us, but in the sky. She then, Vanished.
