"Nobody wants your opinion, Harry. You weren't invited here in the first place so you can leave if you don't like it." Lucas says taking my hand. "Besides were here for Rachel. It's her night. Right sweety."
"I...um..sure." I say squeezing his hand back.
"Why don't you just shut the hell up befor-"
"Ok. so what would you guys like to eat?" My mom buts in loudly. I want to kiss her head right now.
"Harry, calm down." I say grabbing his wrist and pulling him to sit back down roughly. Harry lets out a grunt and then gives Lucas a glare before sitting down and crossing his arms across his chest. "And quit pouting."
I open my menu and begin to look through the pages. Everything has big fancy names and I have no idea what they are. Don't most restaurants have descriptions of meals?
"What the hell is this?" Harry asks pointing to a weird name on the menu. It looks French and hard to pronounce so I won't even try.
"How am I supposed to know?" I laugh flipping the page.
I scan the page looking for something that looks even somewhat appetizing.
"The mushroom soup here is to die for." Lucas says pointing to a dish on the menu.
"Oh no th-"
"She's allergic" Harry interrupts me flipping a page. We both look over at him. How did he know I was allergic to mushrooms? "What?" He says rudely.
"Nothing." I smile. I find it so sweet that Harry knows that.
"She can speak for herself, Harry."
"Stop it!" I scold Lucas. I knew this was a really bad idea.
"Sorry honey." Lucas gives me a small kiss on the lips and smiles. "How about some duck then?" I nod. That actually sounds pretty good.
"Great!" He looks up to his parents and says something about the usual with a word I couldn't pronounce that kind of sounded like snearat. This place is so strange.
I look over at Harry and see he's scrolling through his phone.
"Come on Harry. Really?" He shrugs not even looking up at me.
"Put your phone away." I tell him. He shrugs again. "Are you even listening to me. Put your phone away before I take it." I whisper hoping no one else can here us.
"Why? You're too busy smootching with your boyfriend and no one else cares about me here. They won't mind." I quickly look at the table and see no one is paying attention. I lightly place my hand on his thigh and he finally looks up at me. His eyes are so pretty.
"I'm sorry. I will end it soon. But just not yet." I tell him. I feel so bad he has to sit through this. But then again he didn't have to come along.
"Whatever." Harry shakes my hand off of his leg and I pull away a little hurt. He can keep scrolling through his phone because right now no one at this table is happy with him. Not even me anymore.
Why does he have to be such a jerk sometimes? He needs to learn to stop getting jealous so easily.
What am I saying?! This is all my fault. I'm basically playing him on and I feel horible. I feel bad for Lucas too. I'm playing both of them on. I really need to tell Lucas everything before it gets too far. I'm such a terrible person! Why doesn't Harry hate me and just leave already? I'm so mean to him.
"I'm sorry...e-excuse me." I quickly get out of my chair and run to the bathroom. I wipe the tears on the way that have slipped past my eyes and once I get inside I look in the mirror.
