I woke up in the empty, barren, bedroom on a hard, tiny bed that me and my mom where sharing just for last night. I looked outside the uncovered windows being blinded by the light. As I shielded my eyes, I looked over to the little alarm clock we had on the floor. 8:00 A.M! I quickly turned over to my mom and shook her by the shoulders.

"MOM! MOM! WAKE UP! IT'S TIME TO GO!" I yelled excitedly. Today was the big day! We were moving to a new town hoping for a new start. I was more than glad to leave! All of the people in my town are cruel and the boys were.... there's no nice way to put it so lets just say unattractive and nerdy.

We were moving to right outside London for my first year of college and I was so excited to see our new house! My mom said there were a few girls around my age and a really cute boy.

"What?.....OH! C'mon get up Rachel!" My mom yelled getting out of bed. I laughed and climbed out of the bed. Our furniture, except for one bed, was already packed up and on its way to the house. All we had to do was grab a few little things and be out the door and on our 4 hour drive to our house right outside of London, Primrose Hill.

Deciding not to change, we walked out of the door and put the bags in the boot of the car. Before climbing in the passenger seat I took one last look at our small, one story, old, raggedy house.

"Goodbye old friend! I'm gonna miss the good times we had!" I waved to the house as if it was a person and slid into the passenger seat.

"Ready! I'm so excited!" My mom said almost giddy like. I loved her like my own mother even though she adopted me when I was ten years old from a shelter.

I nodded and buckled up, my mom doing the same. For the next four hours, my mom and I listened to Ed Sheeran, The Fray, and a few more random artists that were on the radio.

"Cupake! wake up! We just pulled into the neighbourhood!" My mom said elbowing me from a deep sleep. I instantly shot up and looked around my brand new neighbourhood.

"Oh my! It's beau- AAAHH!!" I screamed as my mom stomped on the breaks and skidding to a halting stop.

"OH MY GOD MOM!" I yelled after recovering from the shock. She was breathing hard and gripping the steering wheel tightly.

"Well my bad for freaking out when I almost run over a boy!" My mom yelled snapping her head towards me. I looked forward out of the front window and saw a tall, dark curly haired boy standing in front of the car, practically touching the bumper. I calmed down and my mom rolled down her window.

"Sorry mate!" She yelled awkwardly. Curse my mom...she always acted weird around boys. Hot or not! He nodded and looked over at me. A smirk grew on his face and his right eye dropped into a wink. My eyes grew in shock. Wow! These London boys move fast!

He then backed out of the way of the car and for the first time I noticed he had a football in his hands. He must have ran out in the road without looking to catch it and that was when we almost hit him with our car. He raised his arm and threw the football across the road and to another guy far away. He could throw far!

My mom rolled her window back up and began to drive again.

"Isn't he a cutie!" My mom said cheerfully while pulling into a drive way. I rolled my eyes. But I had to agree, he was kind of cute!

"Wait is this the house?!" I asked looking out. My mom nodded her head and climbed out of the car.

"What do you think? Do you like it? Is it too small?!" My mom shot questions at me nervously.

"Ya! I love it!" I said taking a look at my new home.

It was a medium sized house you could say. Two floors, a lot of windows, beautiful green grass with little bushes and flowers scattered across it. It was a beige colour and had a two car garage off to the right side. There were a few steps leading to the white door and a little canopy covering it. The house was actually quite beautiful! Much better than our old house!
