"You can go home now Desaray. Do you have anyone to drive you?" The doctor asks Desaray.
"Uhh yeah Alex it going to take me home."
"Okay I'll take you down to the waiting room to wait for him."
"Okay thank you doc."
"No problem."
"Umm Alex can I not go home."
"Why? Where would you stay?"
"I don't know where I would stay but I'm not going home."
"Why?"
"Because of my mom and my brother."
"What did they do to you."
"My mom would always hit me and yell at me and Chad for no reason. Once Chad go older he started to do the same to me so my mom stopped hit him.
"Wait your mother would hit the both of you."
"Yes."
"And once Chad strayed hitting you she stopped hit Chad."
"Yes. But that was just the night that she wasn't drunk."
"What did your mother do when she was drunk?"
"She would beat me way worse then she would Chad."
"Des look at me I'm not letting you go back there ever again. Let's just get your stuff and I'll let you stay at my place."
"Thank you Alex." Desaray said crying.
"Don't cry I'll make sure you're safe I promise."

"I love you too Des. Is this your mother's house yeah Okay wait here I'll get your things."
"Okay it's already packed up."
"Okay I'll be in and out."
The ride back to Alex's and Jack's house was quite till Alex broke the silence.
"So umm Des how would you like umm going out sometime?"
"Are you asking me out on a date?"
"Is that not okay?"
"No no its fine."
"So is that a yes you'll go out with me?"
"Yeah I would love that."
"Great how's tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow sounds great."
"We're here. Don't mind the mess."
"It's better then my mother's house."
"Good but there's not an extra room so we will have to share a room if that's okay."
"Yeah that's fine."
"Right this way my lady."
"This is a nice room."
"Thanks."
"Mind if I go to bed now."
