This is just some bonus whatever, if you wanna skip along, but I wanted to do some fun facts about my two protags, not only so you understand them better, but so I can too!
So, here it goes...
Ebony:
- Ebony actually prefers her Shade name over her real name, Jane.
- Ebony picked the name Bellona for her axe to give herself courage when fighting. Bellona is a mythological war Goddess.
- Ebony's biggest wish is to meet the little girl in the rain boots, who she believes is her sister.
- Ebony's ethnicity is left ambiguous, so she can be viewed as any race you want her to be.
- Ebony's favorite food is anything deep-fried and smothered in cheese, to Copper's dismay.
- Ebony had a boyfriend before she was abducted.
Copper:
- Copper is the only Shade who was allowed to remember his past and to willingly join S.H.A.D.E.
- Copper chose his Shade name due to it being the taste of blood, a reminder of what he is fighting for-- the safety of his family.
- Copper was a top student in school.
- Copper's favorite food is instant noodles, though he pretends to have a strict diet in front of everyone. Only Ebony knows about his noodle- binging sessions.
- Copper was bullied as a child for having red hair.
- Copper's real name is William Theron, making him a distant relative of Lidia Theron, a character in What Lies Between. This is why they share the same traits and bravery and why his sister, Sofia, is Psychic.
