Skies POV

I went dress shopping with Lilly, who's being a total klutz. She kept tripping over nothing, which is really weird. I shouldn't say anything though, I trip over nothing all the time.

We couldn't find anything that we liked in a few stores, so we went to the one place we felt at home. Hot Topic. I squealed in excitement as I stared at the Twenty One Pilots dress. It's too cute. I winced when I heard Lilly squeal and then trip over a box. Helping her up, she ran over to the dress wrack which had a bunch of black dresses that are super cute. She grabbed one, holding it close to her.

We took our dresses to Tommy at the counter. "Hey Tommy!" I chirped with a smile. "Hey Skie, anything new going on?" He asked, staring down at the dresses then at us as he rung them up. "Yep, we have this big Halloween dance," I said, doing jazz hands. He chuckled. "Nice, but... Aren't you supposed to wear costumes?"

"Yeah, but we want to look our best. Plus, Lilly has a mask and I've got a ukulele." I shrugged. He grinned at me. "That'll be $150.00." (I know that Hot Topic is very expensive but I make my characters pay less. I wish I was them. 😂)

I handed him our money, waving goodbye.

"Thanks, Tommy, see you later," I spoke, skipping out of the store, Lilly trailing behind me. Hopping into her truck, she drove us back to her place. When we got there, we immediately ran into the house in excitement. Her mom is baking chocolate chip cookies. Only 3 more hours until the dance, too. I could smell the delicious cookies once I walked in. My mouth was watering. Going into the kitchen, I saw Mrs. Parker taking the cookies out of the oven. Lilly ran to the cookies, pushing me in the process. "Precious's," Lilly said in one of the weirdest voices I've ever heard. She took one of the cookies and bit into it. "Hot, hot, hot," she screeched. She turned on the tap and started drinking the water. "I think we should start getting ready," she spoke, cheeks rosy red.

I agreed, so we went upstairs to get dressed in our beautiful dresses. Lilly slipped into her black dress, smiling at her reflection, then put on her black mask. I did this same, and applied a bit of mascara to my eyelashes and lipgloss to my lips, holding onto my ukulele. "We look sexy as hell!" I said, posing weirdly in front of her body mirror. Lilly giggled. That's when I realized that I didn't get a cookie. I sprinted to the kitchen with Lilly hot on my tail. I munched on the warm, chocolatey cookies, Lilly joining. "Did we ever tell the guys to meet us here?" Lilly asked. I nodded. "Yup, I texted Sean to meet us at your place and gave him the address. He said he'd bring Brayden." I winked at her. Brayden is the captain of the football team and I have to admit that he's hot. He's got honey brown eyes, wavy brown hair, sun-kissed skin.

To let time pass, we lounged about on her couch and watched American Horror Story, waiting for the boys to get here. "Evan Peters is so sexy," I sighed, dreamily. After I said that, the doorbell rang. We both jumped up. "I call opening the door!" Lilly screamed. I smirked. That means more time for me to stare at Evan a.k.a Tate.

"The party has arrived," Sean spoke cockily. I rolled my eyes. I seem to do that a lot when he's around. "Not really, you ruined the party," I said, pointing to the gorgeous man on the screen. He glared at me with pouty lips. Laughing, I ran to him and gave him a hug. "You look breathtakingly beautiful," Sean said, staring at my outfit. "Thanks," I blushed. We told Mrs. Parker goodbye and thanked her for the cookies, before leaving. Brayden and Sean were pretty mad that they didn't get any.

It's sunset and the party has already started. You can hear the music blasting throughout the school and all of the lights are off. I held Sean's hand as we walked into the building, staring at all of the dancing students. "It's time to party!" Lilly hollered, grabbing Brayden's hand and running to the dance floor. I laughed at her silliness, then stared into Sean's eyes. "Are you ready to see me embarrass myself with my amazing dancing?" I sat my ukulele at our table.

Sean chuckled.

"I doubt you'd embarrass yourself, just by dancing." I gave him a sly smile. "That's what you think!"

While I danced my weird dances, Sean was laughing with me. A slow song came on and Sean pulled me close, hands on my hips. Wrapping my arms around his neck lightly, we smiled at each other as 'A Thousand Years' by Christian Perri played. This is the best night ever. I had cookies, watched AHS with my best friend, but the best part of all... Is this moment, right here, right now. Looking into his ocean blue eyes, I know he's the one. I lay my head upon his chest as we swayed. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you, too," he said, pecking my forehead.

Throughout that night, it was all dancing, laughing, and screaming out the lyrics to all of the songs while I played my ukulele terribly.
